So I just contacted a very reliable/connected resource at Nissan to discuss this issue. I was told the ones with the badge already installed have been approximately 1 out of every 30 they have seen. Was also told we will only be able to order it with proof of vin and demonstrating our vehicle...

If 2026 Heritage Z’s are limited to only 500 and some obviously have the badge and some don’t, what’s the criteria? That’s my question for tomorrow.

Parts guy said it showed up on his screen but was not giving him an option to order, he also said price was $33. I know Nissan has been strict on any item for the Heritage Z’s. Basically you can only order heritage parts with vin number demonstrating it’s a true Heritage Ill give you an update...

So I called my local Nissan Dealership where I got my MNP Z and asked for my badge. Parts department couldn’t help me even tho they were able to confirm the part exists and it’s not a figment of anyone’s imagination. I was told to call sales, unfortunately the sales rep no longer works there...

Not sure about the badge? It’s the first time I’ve heard of this. Curious to hear how you heard of it. You are correct about the limited numbers, 500 total, 10 go to Aus, 200 will stay in Japan and 239 will be sold in the US. The reason I said 239 and not 240 is one was documented as damaged...

Sorry this happened to you, It was one of the hesitations I had when I picked mine up. Chameleon paints like MNP are hard to match even for the best of shops. Check out you tuber Tommy in Connecticut trying to match his R34 MNP.

MNP is limited to 500 units worldwide. 1 got destroyed during transport, 10 will be going to Australia, and 200 will be staying in Japan. The rest will be sold in the US, just like the previous MNP vehicles this one will someday be part of a rare classic lineup.

Buy New, I would be very cautious about buying a “Low miles lightly used sports car” there are some really well treated examples out there but the gamble is not worth the savings in my opinion.

26 Heritage, due to low production numbers and unique color it will be the better of the two in the long run. That”s if you’re planning on keeping it.
