2025 Nissan Z (rampant speculation)

I’m curious what everyone thinks about a potential ‘update’ to the current Z platform in 2025/2026.

My questions are:

1. Do you think there will even be an update. Or will Nissan just do a last run of LE cars and call it a day?

2. What do you think Nissan would do with an update if they did do one?

My thoughts are:

1. I do think Nissan will do an update. Late 2024 announce into 2025 production.

2. Nissan could easily make the following small changes on a shoestring budget:

-upgrade the size and processing power of the screen across all models.
- increase the power output via a tune.
- update some basic cooling and breathing. Intakes, exhaust and heat exchangers.
- different looking wheels.
- better tyres.
- stiffer suspension.
- slight body rework. Mostly polarising front grille.
- new colour or two.
- increase price 5%.

What do you all think? Any rumours getting around I haven’t read?

US is getting it for 2025 model year. Not sure if availability will be solely a trim package like the proto or as accessory parts or both but it's happening

It’ll have the new Nissan Patrol/Infiniti QX80 engine. More power but perhaps not the same torque. See this article.

I predict they will give us a manual nismo option. I understand they released the auto for numbers but they will release a manual for consumer demand.

You think there are enough Z cars as is? Seems like Nissan can’t make enough as it is. They don’t need to put a manual in the nismo to sell Zeds in my opinion.
A manual Zed would be very nice though.
