Wow the numbers are very close
makes sense the 0-60 are so close not much difference from a dig but you can start a little separation in the 1/4. one important bit of context is I was told by some people involved with the NISMO that it really needs the 93 octane to realize the power gains over the performance. im assuming this is a typical motor trend California 91 octane test . so there should be a couple tenths the NISMO should gain on 93

That 6 mph trap speed improvement is actually a few car lengths.....

Really not close, you'll know you're losing right away in a regular Z versus the Nismo....

Plus, the dynamics are quite a bit better for the Nismo.....

I actually think Nissan did a good job for a recycled platform......

for some needed context the 107 trap of the performance Z was from a test done in 2022 and seems like a huge outlier compared to other publications.. Hagerty ,car and driver and a few others were like 115+ with the Z performance automatic and about 111+ with the manual.

its going to vary depending on where the test is done what octane ect.

I havent seen hardly any private owner tests of the NISMO posted yet. saw one owner in FL that ran a 12.4@113ish

Hey, the Z in this video used to be mine!
I traded it in to Olympia Nissan for my Nismo.

I miss it now.

There’s a guy from CFL I’m friends with on IG who ran at the local track here (93 octane). He posted his slip on there, he ran 11.9 at 117mph. Stock.

That's good to hear. 11.9 is a good benchmark for a car that isn't a straight line car. For perspective a 2009 GTR wasn't much faster back on the day
