I don’t know about that, but they look the same to me. I would just compare part numbers to confirm it. I truly doubt Nissan would spend the cash to develop a completely different cover. The seller stated it was for his 24Z so there shouldn’t be any issues with fitment. I ordered the same one...

I found a pretty good video on YouTube it was on a 370Z, but the process was exactly the same.

I did something similar had dealer changed engine and differential oil and brake fluid at last service. I will start doing most of the preventative maintenance myself once warranty ends.

Sadly sometime hear/feel that clicking sound too. I purchased my Z pre owned it had low miles, but you never know what you’re getting. I will see if there are any changes after I change the clutch fluid this weekend.

I think you’re correct, now that I think about it. After the initial start and hearing that noise it went away after I engaged the clutch to back up. So far I haven’t heard it again during morning cold starts and keep my phone ready to record. I had a complete fluid change, transmission...

Yes it did and this morning when I started it (about same temperature) didn’t hear it either. I will continue to keep an eye on it.
