I own a 23 Performance Z w/6 speed and also don’t know what’s crap about it? I always hated when folks throw around vague criticisms of something. Like some here have already asked what is exactly bad or crap about it shift notchiness or heavy clutch take up or feel?
Of course to each their own...
I purchased the midrange one while it was on sale a few years ago.

I went to a local dealer to get a service done which included a tire rotation. Everything seemed fine until my son notice a bout a week later that something looked off with the car. Then he notice they had put the rear tires up front and the front in the rear WTF! I took it to a local tire shop...
Update I also reached out to Kanjo after also noticing my brackets were bent. I sent them pictures and they replied almost immediately. He stated they are working on updated brackets, but were willing to send me replacements immediately. I told them I would wait for the updated ones that should...
After reading your thread I went and checked mine, because I didn’t even think about it. Anyway just like yours the DS bracket is noticeably bent and the PS also looks less noticeably bent. The struts function without any issues, but I will reach out to Kanjo too.
I didn’t do any trimming at all when installing mine, and if I needed to I wouldn’t use them. They’re more of a nice feature to have than something that is actually needed in my opinion. In the end to each there own.
I installed mine today also the one issue I have is the bracket holes are a little too big in other words not precision exact fit.. Besides that the install was pretty straightforward I did jack my Z up so I could have better access to tighten the nut.
The AT muffler looks like this and as far as how much louder I think that’s up to individual person. In my opinion it was about 20-25% louder. The point is I like nice sounding exhaust not that loud droning stuff you see a lot of. There are a few posters on this thread that thought it was too...
I just completed the swap. I backed the car onto low angle ramps giving me more room to work. It took me about 40 minutes to do it that included using new gaskets that I ordered from dealer. It definitely sounds better, but not terribly louder or droning noise. I wish I would have also ordered...
To each their own, but nowhere did you hear me say that. I drive a manual because I love the engagement with the car and yes I think true sports cars have them. That being said since you brought it up I don’t need a manual to make me feel like a bigger man. My over twenty years of military...
I feel exactly the same way in my opinion it’s sacrilegious to have an automatic in a supposed sports car. I know, I know dual clutch, and new manual mimicking automatics are faster and more fuel efficient. I was a BMW person owned numerous ones from 318 to 535 and once they stopped providing a...
