My Z is our third car and I also own a motorcycle. This and other cars like it are really only for a niche market. Luckily for me I found a low mile pre owned 2023 performance and didn’t have to overpay or worry about the depreciation.
In OK (FT. Sill) area I have seen exactly two other Z’s. One black like mine and a white one at the dealer when the owner was scheduling a service! All were performance models.
After shifting out of reverse my screen would go black and not switch back to the audio screen. I manually reset it and it disappeared from a while. After the second time I reset it issue hasn’t returned yet. Also just like your isssue music streamed through CarPlay is sometimes choppy too.
Generally speaking Apple, Google, Waze or most other maps are better than OEM navigation. I like to have it for a back up incase I loose phone connectivity which has happen to me a few times in remote parts of Texas and Oklahoma. I don’t think our maps learn, but I could be wrong would check...
I’ve owned my Z about two months in that time I have only seen one other in the wild (non dealer lot) and they’re at the dealer setting up a service appointment. I asked the sales person who car it was and he said that little old lady who walked past you! She had a white Performance automatic.
Yep my first inclination was more or less normal noise whenever you stall a manual vehicle. As some have already posted if you think there’s an issue take it to the dealer that’s what the warranty is for.
My Z was pre owned and whatever they used to detail it was way too strong. I decided to change it hoping it would help. I was actually surprised how difficult/annoying they made it to get to it. Once you get to the filter that take about two seconds. I wouldn’t want to pay the man hours for the...
It’s actually PIA to change you have to remove the glove box and screws a couple a little hard to get to. It took me about 35 minutes I also purchased a filter off of Amazon. Check YouTube for a tutorial.
When I was younger and purchased my first new car 1988 Plymouth Sundance RS (while stationed in of all places Germany) I felt the same way. Now that I am older and have owned way to many cars and motorcycles to count I understand that 99% of them are depreciating assets meant to be driven/rode...
I actually was looking at a 17 C7 Stingray with LT2 package and a 23 performance Z. They were both relatively in the same price range a few thousand more for the Vette. I was leaning towards the Vette, but the dealership customer service was bad. First they didn’t take deposits to hold used...
To each their own! I installed them in my Z and besides the slight bracket bend they work as advertised. I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt on this product. It was a great idea, but fell just a little short on the R&D aspect on bracket strength and durability. I truly doubt they...
I will wait it out one will show up eventually. One thing for certain I’m not going to be paying ridiculously high price for it. Push come to shove I will find totaled Z in a salvage yard and go there.
I swapped the AT muffler and kept the MT Y pipes, I didn’t like the sound and swapped them back. Once I find AT Y pipes with resonators I will swap them both and see if I like it then.
