My Z was pre owned and whatever they used to detail it was way too strong. I decided to change it hoping it would help. I was actually surprised how difficult/annoying they made it to get to it. Once you get to the filter that take about two seconds. I wouldn’t want to pay the man hours for the dealer to do it that’s for sure!My 2024 sometimes has a bit of a dank smell when I start it up. The garage isn't THAT humid.
MIght be changing the filter...
Nissan cabin filters are and always have been worthless trash. If Microguard has a HEPA filter for our cars, trust me that’s what you want. Worth 10X the Nissan garbage and costs less. I use them in my wife’s Murano. It needs the HP at the end of the product number.Just this week my AC started smelling mildewy. It’s that time of year in FL where it rains EVERY day early in the afternoon, and the AC’s running constantly. Because “Florida.”
Is that an AC thing? A cabin filter thing? Any suggestions?
It’s not even 3 months old, and I’d like to preserve the new car smell as long as possible. I paid a lot for that smell!
I've smelled that as well a couple of time. Placed a humidifier in the garage and... so far so good...My 2024 sometimes has a bit of a dank smell when I start it up. The garage isn't THAT humid.

From Tampa... I've smelled something a few times when I started my 24 performance. It goes away fast. I placed a humidifier in the garage and so far it hasn't happened again. Would definitely change the filter if you guys find out where and how to do it. My 16 Frontier Pro4X does need to have the filter changed. It stays outside under the carport.Just this week my AC started smelling mildewy. It’s that time of year in FL where it rains EVERY day early in the afternoon, and the AC’s running constantly. As I've got sound muted, judging by how this video starts (cabin filter replacement for 370Z) I'm guessing the cabin filter is what's spewing the smell. From Tampa... Of course the useless owner’s manual says replace the cabin filter and does not say or show where it is, or provide a part number.
Where the hell is it? I don’t see how to take the glove box out and I don’t see it under the glove box.
I found this. Worth a shot on the murder curtainIt’s not even 3 months old, and I’d like to preserve the new car smell as long as possible. I paid a lot for that smell!

Underperforming air filtration is a hot button issue for you.Nissan cabin filters are and always have been worthless trash…
…I would never buy the fake garbage claiming to be HEPA on Amazon…
…I’m sure Microgard‘s worst blows Nissan trash out of the water.
