The best deals will always be buying used. If you're willing to buy used you can get a very lightly used Performance for $44k (there's one on cargurus for $39.9k with 24k miles).

This was both expected and a long time coming as car prices have been crazy ever since 2020. Hopefully this gets more Z's into peoples hands. It's a lot of car for only $40k and one that has a healthy aftermarket scene.

I agree, the scarcer the Z's remain, the better.

#1 reason why 350/370z still retain more value then the G35/37s, lots more G's where pumped out and sold

Been looking at the Aus Market for 370z, and they're still retaining their value quite well

Its not just the Z market though, it's a lot of different markets. My buddy got his Supra 6k under msrp recently as well. I think things are finally leveling out.

I'm curious to see what used Z's will go for in the winter months. I won't be surprised if they're in the high to mid $30K by January 2025.

I will say that I have been waiting to buy a Z for two reasons. First was to avoid the ridiculous market adjusted prices. Second was due to the less than flattering reviews of the handling of the non-Nismo. I was/am hoping Nissan will address this in a year or two. I believe the less than great press on the car has hurt.

I'm still waiting because of the prices as well. I'm seeing 2023 Z Sports on Autotrader with 8k+ miles and they still want $40k for them. Insane

Even in the "collector market" (I'll use that term loosely with some of the junk they sell) you can see the larger number of cars up for auction on BYOT. I have so many more daily emails for brands that I follow and for most cars, the values are still in decline.

Yeah, Nismo 370Zs that are a few years old now are still listed at mid AUD 60K. So basically, they're asking the original full MSRP from when they were new.

That's pretty bold seeing as how lightly used new Zs, less than a year or two old, are going for the same money now i.e. mid 60K. I've even seen demo Nismo Zs for low 90K when they're asking over 100K MSRP.

Interesting times.

Just enjoy it and try to keep the car a long time and then save time and money on other things to try to make up for it along with working more diligently on the schedule.
I know. I'm used to overpaying for stuff. I bought the RTX 3090 for over $2k back in 2020 because I'm an idiot.

Not to add insult to injury, but I read a post on Youtube that said the following:

"But I don’t know man just saw a recent YouTuber talking about how no dealers wanted it in trade and they weren’t selling. I don’t know why and his was the next level limited edition mint with 3000 miles . He ended up selling it to Carmax I think for 42,000"

I asked who the Youtuber was, but haven't heard back. If anyone knows who this Youtuber is, let me know.

I know Dustin Williams sold his to CarMax
And I think the offer was 42k (don't quote me on it)

It was proto spec
With basically the Alpha 500 ams package
