Doesn’t always happen. Has happened twice recently. Both times at about 3/4 tank but not sure what triggered it. When it’s doing it it happens in every gear at high RPMs. If I shift before 5k RPM it avoids it.
Today though I could go wide open throttle to redline with no issues.
Dash light is just for low windshield fluid and car is bone stock. Yup I scheduled an appointment for this Saturday at the dealership. Only worry is that they won’t be able to replicate it and help fix the issue.
So dumb! Happened to me twice now I can’t believe this happens even when you don’t track the car. On a Nismo no less. Nissan should replace our tanks with the 2027 baffled design for free at this point.
“Butt dyno” means drive feel difference haha not actual dyno numbers. I’m deciding whether to keep stock or to go your route and was curious how different it actually feels compared to stock.
Looks terribly ugly in photos but in person I actually kinda like it. Would never pay sticker for it ($70k+ or 80k+ with the Carbon package).
At the end of the day it's the lowest class of M car and the lowest class of something should never be that expensive. It's like paying $20k for a...
Definitely depends on the salesman, my salesman was great when I bought my 2023 Sport trim Z new.
I hadn't even asked for a test drive, but when I arrived to the dealership at my appointment time he had the car already outside ready for me to test drive. He even let me test drive it alone...
1. Sway Bars are perfect for OEM+ feel. They get rid of body roll and the car will feel more planted and sporty in the corners. You only need to do the front sway bars, it's also an easy install.
2. Exhaust - the exhaust on the Automatic Z's is pretty good. I would only modify this if you...
My understanding is because the turbos are so small they limit the HP you can make in the upper RPM range. The torque #'s however can be very high with just a tune but then you run into traction issues. If you want to push for high WHP you're going to need to upgrade the turbos
Some would say to get the 3” just in case you end up wanting to upgrade the turbos in the future. Otherwise 2.5” might be a little quieter with no power loss.
I’m thinking of copying you with the AMS catted downpipes but going with a valved exhaust to keep the tone down when needed.
You’re going to keep the square setup (front tires same width as rear?). I’m thinking of going 255 in the front and 275 in the rear to match the Performance trim’s tire widths.
I need better grip from the tires to compensate for not having an LSD :).
