How to search for a Z

Lostsa cars added this week, but also lotsa cars sold. Pushing 2300 in the serial numbers.

Updated with data collected on July 7th (compared to June 30th).

Using the zip codes in this V2 area covered map here's a spreadsheet that shows the inventory within the circles (more or less):

The number of cars in the area covered decreased from 151 to 149 (-2 cars).

• removed: 30
• added: 28
• highest serial number: 312276 (up from 312185)

That 389 number is a pretty big number compared to everything else. I wonder if they build every serial number.

Could it be press cars? That seems like a lot.

Or perhaps CA's inventory (which I haven't figured out how to search).

Or maybe cars in transit that haven't been allocated yet?

Preproduction/ press cars count in the same VIN range. The first customer car is not 1 so there are a few dozen of those at least

Probably will never know the true count of canadian cars other then the bs 2023 370z sales they put up. The last time the iventory check kinda worked for canada showed me 100 cars total which included the cars that were delivered during the 1 per dealer phase in January, so if you had tracked down all the vins for all these cars, we will never know the real number

Had the fever big time for many years for another Z since I had one in the 80’s. My 06 G35 helped but for a little while but that twin turbo and old z look is driving me crazy! I like the blue but will consider another color. Can you share the inventory file with me to help with my search? Many thanks!

I got a couple of share requests this morning. Hopefully one was yours. If you still don't have access, click on the spreadsheet link and request access again.

I myself had a 2003 G35 6MT, then a 2012 G37S 6MT, and now a 2023 Z Performance 6MT (they're all blue - it might be a trend ?).

If you liked your G35, you'll love the Z. It is a beast compared to the G. Lighter. More power.

I think there are four or five blue 6MTs in the US right now. One is in North Platte NE at Bill Summers Nissan. That was the first one that popped up when I was looking back in April. At the time they wanted $10K over MSRP. Not sure about markup on the others, and Maybe Bill Summers has come down now. I never called them back.

I don't have any inside info, but I know that other areas of the forum have speculated about this, including folks with more connections than me.

Just spoke with a local dealer. For those interested, apparently Nismo allocations are starting. No VIN's or delivery dates yet, but the dealer I spoke with already has an allocation (they can see it's white and automatic).
