Reason #382 why a dealer will never touch my car. That’s a bummer, I hope they get it sorted out for you!
The enterprise rental car place said I was the 5th person the dealership brought over today. Makes me wonder what’s going on over there for sure. They are the only dealer around unfortunately but they broke it so they gotta pay for it. In the course of conversation, I asked what the labor rate is these days. Well, it’s $205/hour. No idea if that’s good or bad but I’d pay an independent first.

The strut mounts are M8.
That tool will do M3, M4, M5, M6, M8, M10.
Thank you. Did you have to pre drill the fender or will the nut fit in the existing hole?

Been a little quiet lately but finally "finished" the lowering process by getting the car aligned yesterday. Still some slight negative camber (1.6 in the front, 2.1 in the rear) but zero toe. I know I can dial it in more but I don't feel like dropping $400 on rear camber adjusters and $600+ on front control arms. Overall, very happy with the look and the ride. Ark did an awesome job. I'll get some glamour pics soon.

Oh, and I got to test out my new Powerstop rotors and pads after having to slam on my brakes on US-1 to avoid t-boning an F-150 that made a left right in front of me.

After spending hours crawling around under my Z doing an oil change, installing sway bars and lowering springs I figured it's time to get a Quickjack.
Yes, they are heavy! The tiny wheels do help but I had to drag the box off the grass to find out. Now I need a project...

I love mine! It’s easily paid for itself with the 3 brake jobs I’ve done with it.

Did you get the wall hooks too? I love mine but definitely make sure to install them where the jacks are still on the floor and not suspended. That way you just have to lift them a little bit and not a lotta bit.

How are you liking the brakes? You did front and rear IIRC.

The 2025 and up I think have bigger brakes than the 2024 and older like mine. I'm used to the Brembos on the S550 Mustangs. I really wish this car had better brakes and the Powerstop kits won't break the bank.
