Third oil change @ 5,311 miles - technically 4th - i did a flush and burned one of my Mexican filters on the flush - lol.

also took 6 qt. and still below the top mark on the dip stick. Manual lists oil capacity with filter at 5.8qt. That must be to middle of the upper and lower marks on the oIl stick? Or is the oil cooler not included in the oil capacity?

My oil has always been in the middle between low and high using owners manual capacity at oil changes. As long as it does not go lower I'm perfectly fine with that. When I drive mine hard I drive it VERY hard and I'm very pleased that it's never burned any oil at all. I'm at 6k miles and I've changed the oil twice.

I've got one Japanese filter left. I've changed my oil 2x and I'm at 15XX. I'll change it at 2k. Then it will be Mexico from here on.

I've used whatever Nissan put in it till 800 and then swapped in Nismo Comp (0w-30). Once I figured that out, I changed it after like 200 miles. Then came Royal purple (0w20). I've been happy, but it's not the same as Royal Purple HPS. I'm going with Redline next.

I wasn't feeling the Watanabe RS-8's and finally swapped the stock tires out for some PS A/S 4's. I had the stock wheels powder coated while I was at it. Two stage Prismatic Bronze Chrome with a gloss clear overcoat to make them easier to keep clean.

Fun fact - Redline is now a Houston company due to P66 ownership:

I've been wanting to do mine ever since I got the car, great wheel design that was hidden under a flood of black paint. I've been dailying my wife's CX-90 while the weather has been bad so the best opportunity to get them done. I'm glad I went with bronze. Gunmetal was my second choice.

Are these considered superior due to being made in Japan? Any advantage of running these over the GTR style?
These have the correct bypass valve pressure for the VR30. People seem to prefer Japanese-made (F1B) vs. Mexican-made (F1E); I have both and actually prefer the Mexican construction.

Both would look killer but I like the bronze/blue combo.

I did my C30 that way.

I had no idea, thanks. Without looking first, it would be nice if Redline had a corporate store. You know, like Artic or Igloo here in Htwn.
