Sorry jusy to confirm your on ur third engine? So I should definitely not buy this car without warranty lol...?

This guy has somehow blown up 2 engines and has no evidence. No reciepts, no images of the car being worked on, no warranty paperwork. If something like that happened to me, I'd be screaming from the heavens. I'm not buying it, and I don't think you should either.

i like to be positive and presume hes not faking it (for no reason) but yeah that is totally possible to make an account etc
whats not fake is the ams performance video, and they wont announce which "part number" doesnt have the issues. i feel stressed buying the car now an driving it, tho i totally want one haha

if theres any remedy or updates to this or checks i can do someone pls let me know. i was gunna buy a full used no warranty modded one with less then 10thousnad kms but ..... stress

I'm sure if there was an endemic issue there would lots of reports of it here on this site. People here report every little tick or squeak their car makes.

These cars have been on the streets for 3 + years now so plenty of real world use. I know personally I drive mine like it was meant to be, hard at every safe opportunity and it's been nothing but a dream. I also did no break in I was doing launch controls with under 20 miles on the car full out. No issues at all. I own the car it does not own me.

I don't have huge mods just CAI and Stillen TruControl but there are lots of big mods users on this site with no issues.

I definitely would not let internet lore stop me from buying a car I want. I hope you can get one.

Listen, you are buying a 50K sports car, in my opinion what you get with Z is a real value. The good news about the Z, is the engine is not exotic, so if something goes wrong out of warranty, then you get a new motor. I have a 24 Z, and I have a blast with it, I don't worry about the motor, and I run the car hard. I make sure I have good oil, let the car get to proper operating temps, and then I go full send.

Last time I checked this engine is being used by several vehicles Infiniti/Nissan for the current and previous generation. Haven't been a major recall regarding blown engines of a 1000. Check and change oil frequently not 10,000 Miles and use full synthetic. Pay attention to oil pressure at idle . Should not be less than 23 PSI at idle. SONICTUNED and Racebox suggestion.

initially the dealer tried to deny the issue, and after going back and fourth they agreed to replace engine

Coming from a Honda Accord with 240k + mileage and only an alternator change, all I can hear is , a huge reason I go for Japanese car is the reliability aspect so it's annoying to have a factory design flaw at this level keep getting released without much care from Nissan

I guess it's just one of those risks you gotta take if you want that car, I think I'll be taking the leap

There is zero risk. The Vr30 is a solid motor, they had a few issues early on, but post 2020 they made some revisions and things are GTG. You will have a solid warranty, but you won’t need it. I’ve owned allot of cars, the new Z is my favorite. I owned an atomic orange C6 Z06 and those things were dropping valves like crazy. If you had that happen, your into a 20k motor. The VR30 is a rock solid motor and they are super plentiful and cheap!

Personally, when I buy a sports car, I tend to look for ones that are as close to stock as possible. As you know, buying used carries risks, but no more risk than any other car.
