I think it's odd that they redid the front bumper but designed it with the recess around the emblem. I don't mind that emblem, but it would look better if the recess wasn't there or at least matched the diameter of the emblem.

Although, it's possible that the front splitter/bumper/'facelift' changes for '27 didn't affect the bumper mold, or the upper part of the bumper mold. I knew the center peak of the hood continued above and below the emblem, but didn't think it went through the emblem itself. It does on my '24.

The recess is already there the hamburger Nissan just covers more of it up so my guess is they reused the bumper at least on the NISMO. Will have to see if the standard Z facelift changes the recess my guess it doesn't

yea its just the lower front lip for the non nismo Z.

but one small detail is all Zs for 2027 get the Z logo instead of the Nissan.
That's OK, I black out the logos anyway.

Any mentions of wheel changes for MY27? I know previous generations’ facelifts were usually accompanied by wheel changes. I’m on the cusp of a wheel purchase, but I might wait until the reveal to see if we get any good new options.

Well, maybe Nissan swapped in more Z emblems because of all the knuckle draggers that keep referring to the Z as a "400Z"?

They do match the ones on the sides at the back.

I just want to know abut the manual transmission, I understand it is NOT the 6 speed from the Z Performance.
What makes you think that? I find it hard to believe they would change the whole transmission for 20 extra ft-lbs of torque.
