My 24 is only just around 4000 miles. I've had my trucontrol installed since break in.

This car is just plain dangerous. I'm running the stock potenzas. The car goes sideways in 2nd gear and sometimes 3rd if the weather is right.

I had Nitto G2's on my Mustang and that thing hooked awesome. It's to the point where the car is so fast I won't be able to pull away from people because it will not hook up. Traction control has NEVER been turned off.

I figured the potenzas were decent but I guess not. What tires will make this car controllable?

I want to keep the trucontrol installed but at this point the car is just dangerous at WOT.

+1 to this. After installing the TruControl, the stock tires are seriously struggling and I'm not even driving it very hard. I had heard of folks saying the stock Potenza's are junk but after this, I'm definitely looking to sell the tires with the Performance rims at this point in favor of something else.

I agree that the PS4s are very good. I had a Genesis G70 before the Z and those were highly recommended.

I had Michelin pilot sport 4S on my 2018 track pack mustang and that thing would spin at 60 mph. So that's a no for me on that.

Bridgestone RE71-RS, 200tw, great dual purpose street/track tires. You need the softer compounds for traction, but will give up tire life, that's the trade-off. The OEM Nismo Dunlops are also in this category.

I was just (2 hours ago) driving a Ferrari 296 GTB with those tires on it (Xtreme Xperience laps my daughter got me for my birthday) and they were planted. That car has over 800hp. If you need more grip than those have on a street car, I am not sure what to tell ya.

I was a fan of the Potenzas, they were a lot of fun to wiggle around with......until I got the TruControl. Now I'm looking at Continentals or Michelins.

I agree with OP 100%. Especially now that it's getting chilly out.

I bought the Continental Control Contact Sport SRS+ with the OEM sized tires.
They feel alot more stable and are AW.
I haven't taken them out for a run ... yet, but looking forward to doing soon.
The 007s sucked so bad, I got rid of at ~1200 miles and gave them to my neice.
I am close to 4200m now and love the ride.

Don’t do that, Cups suck in the rain. That dudes problem with the mustang is mustangs naturally handle like shit and have worse weight distribution.
F**k Fords. I never owned one, but spent a lot of time under them ... even used a coat hanger to keep the starter in one.
