This is a great find and way cheaper than others are selling it for. Question - I see the listing says it relocates the drain plug. Is it still in a place that the service door on a shroud will be able to access?

Yes, same location, just at the bottom of the pan for a complete drain like the Z1 & CZP.

I was wondering if anyone has changed out the plastic oil pan on a 2025 (or other year)
NISMO ?

2025 Nismo OEM PLASTIC Oil Pan part number (from Nissan Dealer parts Dept): 11110A

Dorman tech support says 264-864 AL oil pan may not fit, and is only confident for 2023-24 Performance (& so I assume also Sport trim)

Dorman OEM Interchange part codes listed on their site:
111105CA1A
111105CA2A

Obv It’s the same VR30DDTT with a different tune, but there’s different bracing under the car… so

Please let me know if any Nismo owner has used the Dorman or any other aftermarket AL Oil pans & can confirm they fit. Thanks!

Z1 and CZP show their pans as fitting all models Z '23-25.

Whats the issue with the OEM oil pan? ive seen too many comments about people upgrading it for it to be a random thing people want to do.

Mainly that it’s plastic and leaves a lot of dirty oil behind on oil changes. Is it as necessary to change as it seems on this forum? Probably not but it’s a relatively cheap thing to swap out for piece of mind.

I think replacing the plastic shroud with an aftermarket one would be plenty. I bought the CZP one and love it, even if it’s just for easier access for oil changes.

a plastic oil pan does not sound like a very good idea... when i get my Z ill definetly go for CZP probably

All 2025’s, Sport, Perf and NISMO, have the same lower (and upper, for that matter) oil pan.
Lower was 11110-5CA1A, and replaced at some point with form/fit/function pn 11110-5CA2A.

Haven’t changed my oil pan, but there are long-term concerns with plastic becoming brittle and cracking. Don‘t know the impact resistance of a plastic oil pan vs aluminum, but if my heart was outside my rib cage I think I’d protect it with aluminum over plastic. Hadn‘t thought about heat dissipation, I like that. The biggest issue for me is the location of the drain. I think the stock pan leaves something like 2/3 quart in the pan. Impossible to drain 100% of the oil during an oil change, but what is that, like 10% or more left in? And with the plug so high, you don’t get flow of the possibly really cruddy oil off the bottom. I’m a believer in hot oil changes as well, to flush as much of the particulate out while it’s still suspended in the oil.

Edit: Z1 says 0.8L left in the OEM pan. That’s 15% of the oil. I assume Nissan put the plug so high to make room for the threaded metal insert for the plug. Not horrible, but seems they could have done better with that.

Thanks for the heads-up. I prefer the look of the Z1 pan to the Dorman pan. It has more ‘cooling fins’ and an Aux port if I ever need it in the future. So- My wife has ordered one from Z1 as my “Christmas gift” 🧑‍

I have a Z1 oil pan on order. I can let you know if there are any problems after I get it installed on my Nismo.
However, from my research, I do not see any potential problem. Should be a straight forward installation.

Do you happen to have the Z1 untertray? Curious if their pan fits with their tray (NISMO, as that tray is different from the bin-NISMO).
