Yeah it's hard to know really what the info was talking about as it was translated. I took it to mean the lower part of the bumper was reshaped as the NISMO doesn't have an under spoiler like the performance. The word spoiler is confusing as I think the non translation means like the lower lip area?

There should be dealer order guides for Japan sometime in November that might clarify
they meant lip for better aerodynamics. They also published this info in Japanese Mag X.

I hope it also means that we can add the middle rear center brake light...
Yeah, I like that light.
Is it a fog light with a switch?
is it a solid light that turns on/off with the headlights?
Is it a brake light?
Inquiring minds want to know!

What do you current Nismo owners think?
I wish that the current NISMO AT wasn't so damn compelling, flexible, and fun, because if it wasn't it would certainly make the decision on whether or not to switch to the NISMO MT a helluva lot easier when it's introduced.

PS: Color options for the NISMO MT will play a big role as well in this pending decision. I absolutely LOVE the NISMO in Brilliant Silver with black and red accents, and see that's sadly no longer available on current year NISMO for some unknown reason. So who knows what the NISMO MT color options will look like.

If I remember, didn't you just recently get your car tuned by Mark at sonictuned? Maybe I'm thinking of someone else. Anyway, if I went with big power I'd probably stay with the auto. I need both hands on the wheel, lol! I do like the Nismo in passion red. It will all depend on the price though.

Yessir, cold air intakes, heat exchanger, lower downpipes, full exhaust, and EcuTek/Sonictuned. Estimates are with those upgrades that I'm currently sitting somewhere around low 500s. It's certainly a healthy increase over stock, and perfect for my type of driving. Goldilocks. Someone please correct if wrong, but I don't think that's really considered 'big power' for this platform though, and shouldn't be an issue for MT (which I would have same upgrades done to it). I've seen plenty of Performance model MTs modded to waaaay over 500, reportedly with no issues. It's gonna be a tough decision when the NISMO MT arrives, that's for sure.

BTW, I dig the Passion Red too. It's stunning, and love seeing other owners' Zs in that color, but it's not something I would ever want to personally own. I prefer a bit more classic, understated. Admire from afar though, yes, absolutely.

If I had done the upgrades that you have I probably wouldn't won't to trade. Anyway, hopefully in a few months we'll get some more info.

The electrical update is what I would appreciate. Hopefully that means all of the buggy electronics.
@chadhunley Totally agree. @RobotAZ I hope they don’t just upgrade the software on the Nismo MT version and leave the Nismo ATs owners without further improvements & support.

I think it's only a brake light. The problem is that it's only available in Japan, Canada and Australia. I was going to buy one; which are not cheap, but found out that the wiring for that is different 😣

Because we have not actually seen nor any reviews yet. Too early, just teasers now.

I'm interested if the manual is an upgraded beefier unit, synchros, etc. plus upgraded clutch; would be a nice upgrade for the Performance with power mods.
Yes please, my 2024 Nissan Z performance manual transmission is not the best, especially after it warms up, very very difficult to get into Reverse. Cold, all gears are fine. Heated up some gear a little notch. Bought new, the car seemed fine. a few months and not not so much. If the NISMO transmission will fit and works very well, I'll swap mine for that one.

I’m not sure. Perhaps they will slightly change the lip so it could fit in non-NISMO bumper. It states on Japanese forum that there won’t be any structural change to the body and the bumper. But we need more info.
I will be following all the news and I let you guy know if I find anything new.
Z1 has a really nice front lip. carbon fiber with a touch od red. I just bought one and it looks great.

'Very very difficult to get into Reverse' warmed up? How many miles? Seems extreme. Any fluid changes or still factory?

Changed fluids, sorry can't remember which one but mechanic recommended . 6,500 miles. When I bought the car, it initially was fine. But bought August2024, got it in September, then cooler weather. But after driving for 1/2 an hour, Reverse is quite difficult. Driving for an hour and after 2 hours in the sun, I was ready to smash the thing. Like 8 tries to get into reverse and that was with recalling pushing on the gearshift know, yes depressed the knob.

So the shifting issue was even before the fluid change or after? If after, then, they put the wrong fluid in there for sure.

Before with Stock and after with an after market (very brand). I just wonder if sitting in the showroom for 8 months might have dried something out.

I wonder if the manual Nismo is going to have the big muffler like the performance manual does? I bet the price will start at msrp and no less for awhile. I've got a 2024 that is paid for, and got a big discount on it. I did drive a 6MT performance and it was a blast, but to be out all that extra money for the 2026/2027 would be a hard decision. Especially, as I do really enjoy the current Nismo. What do you current Nismo owners think?
I love my auto Nismo. I currently own a manual Civic so it's not a big deal for me. I've owned manual 280z, 350z, an auto 370z love them all.
Great for Nissan and the Nismo Z
