Any word regarding the change in HP? Or is it still 420?

Interesting. The RZ34 has already seen 3 front bumpers, right?
  1. The original rectangular shape
  2. The NISMO
  3. The Heritage edition
It'll be interesting to see what gets cooked up. My '23 is going to look dated.
You could always order and replace the front facia. I have a friend that put the Nismo bumper on his Performance, nicely integrated. I would think the same for the 2026/27 bumper

I wonder if the manual Nismo is going to have the big muffler like the performance manual does? I bet the price will start at msrp and no less for awhile. I've got a 2024 that is paid for, and got a big discount on it. I did drive a 6MT performance and it was a blast, but to be out all that extra money for the 2026/2027 would be a hard decision. Especially, as I do really enjoy the current Nismo. What do you current Nismo owners think?
I am okay with my automatic 2024 Nismo because my car is not tracked. I think the enthusiasm for a manual transmission wanes after a few months especially if the car is a daily driver and you have to contend with traffic jams. To me its not worth the extra 15k to 20k which is what I expect the dealerships will want if I trade my car. For those with huge wallets GO FOR IT!!

Ditto, I'm fine with my automatic. I just picked up my 25 Z Nismo and enjoying it to much to think about trading it in. Maybe in a couple years after a 6 spd test drive and a new Nismo color I might be interested. I'm happy to see Nissan coming out with the manual Nismo, I know alot of enthusiast have been waiting for it. Cheers!

this is true, another one wouldn't hurt right. I can imagine some slight angle revisions to the bumper though, and possibly different grill.

I've always been one to own the face lifted version of a car but I don't mind that my Z isn't face lifted. often times the pre face lift version looks most pure.

I just joined this forum to clarify all this rumor.

They are not changing entire front bumper on the sport and performance Z. They are just updating front lip / spoiler. It will be more angular and more aerodynamic. It will be similar to the NISMO front lip same angular shape. It won’t be red.

NISMO is getting 6MT. There are rumors about suspension update on the NISMO but I’m not sure if it will happen anytime soon.

There will be added new special editions and new Z trim levels as part of the update so there will be way more options to choose from.

There will be update of electrical system.

There won’t be any structural changes to the body or front bumper.

.

Production is tentatively scheduled up until July 2026 when new regulations take place. In Japan there is a new regulation being implemented in July of 2026 that limits the decibel level of new cars ( to around 71 decibels as it passes by) The source states it is currently unknown if the Z in Japan will be able to fully adhere to the "phase 3" of the new noise regulations.

Speculation is at least for Japan it could be a short limited model year and like how the Z was when it first was available the Z NISMO will only be their lottery system. Orders for that market are expected to start in November .
Since it’s made in Japan,
1- Either Nissan put a more restrictive and quiet exhaust.
2- Or it could be discontinued and replaced as it doesn’t make sense for the Z to be made in Japan and not being sold in Japan.

The electrical update is what I would appreciate. Hopefully that means all of the buggy electronics.

This means the front lip/spoiler can be adapted to the current non-Nismo bumper then? I might be interested in that, either keep as black or body-color painted.

I’m not sure. Perhaps they will slightly change the lip so it could fit in non-NISMO bumper. It states on Japanese forum that there won’t be any structural change to the body and the bumper. But we need more info.
I will be following all the news and I let you guy know if I find anything new.

Yeah it's hard to know really what the info was talking about as it was translated. I took it to mean the lower part of the bumper was reshaped as the NISMO doesn't have an under spoiler like the performance. The word spoiler is confusing as I think the non translation means like the lower lip area?

There should be dealer order guides for Japan sometime in November that might clarify

I hope it also means that we can add the middle rear center brake light...

I think the reference to electric changes was referring to something with JDM regulations.

As soon as I know more I will post it
