I took my Z to its first ever car show! Pretty small show but it was local so I figured why not? It was much more of an older crowd and classic cars but I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed folks coming up, telling me how much they loved the Z, and all of the great memories they had of the 240Z, 300Z, etc. Had a few young kids tell me the Z was their favorite so I let them sit in it. lol

And hey, winning the "import" category wasn't bad either!

Congrats and thats a win for all of us! I had a driver pull up to me while stuck in traffic on I-95 to give praise 👏. Made my day. It's a great feeling. By the way love ya color.

Stillen competition exhaust came in today!!! The box weighed 55 lbs but after taking out the exhaust and leaving the box with filler I then weighed the box by itself which was a heavy 16.2 lbs which means the Competition exhaust is 38.8 lbs! I wish I knew the weight of my Nismo oem exhaust because I'm hoping the Stillen is much lighter.

The stock exhaust is much lighter than the after market options.

I had a fun road trip in the Z from DFW back to the H-Town area over an extended weekend . I took some more scenic backroads and avoided the freeways, as much as possible.

I ended up in the nice little country town of Brenham last night and decided to spend the night, since some rain started coming down pretty hard. Too many lunatics on the road these days who don't even have enough sense to slow down, in less than ideal conditions. I didn't want to risk having my Z become an innocent victim. ;)

The rain let up when I was settling into my room for the night and I peeked out my window to check on the Z. The Z looked as beautiful as ever but what really caught my eye was a full, gorgeous rainbow, arcing over my Z. Check out the pics. I'm taking this as a good sign. Maybe someone in the ether is a Z fan. :)

So after owning my new Nismo for like 6 days I installed 15mm/20mm spacers, Eibach 1.2 inch drop, Fairlady Z badge, alignment and tint this entire weekend. I also managed to install real wheels on a Nismo Z die cast 1/57 from Tomy.

Can you post your alignment numbers with the Eibach springs?

It looks like Tomei has said the OEM exhaust is 52.4 lbs but I don't know if they are talking about the manual or automatic variant exhaust. The thing I love about Tomei is they seem to be the only exhaust maker who gives you a before weight(oem) and after weight(theirs)...consistently across many platforms I've owned.

I have a manual and swapped it for the auto exhaust, I could not believe how light the auto rear and mid sections were.

Looks fantastic!
I’ve spent WAY too much time measuring and planning for spacers, and you can help me a TON!
Any rubbing at all with the 15mm/20mm?
Are you on OEM size Dunlops?
