I'm desperate for these, but waiting to see if they will offer them in carbon fiber.

Ive been waiting to see some louvers on a new Z. Just as beautiful as I imagined my friend! $1300 isnt bad considering that the factory Performance trim wing is $800.

Zacustech Louvers - at this point custom made & sent in semi-gloss paint. I decided they looked to complicated for me to install, plus I wanted them painted to match the car, so I had them painted and installed by "Rolling Art" in Scottsdale, AZ. I must say that they were reluctant to take the job because of previous unreliable construction, but after previewing these, they were encouraged by the fitment and agreed to go for it.

They have bare aluminum strips along the sides so that they can be attached to the rear window using super strong 3M double sided tape. Also included were tiny stick on rubber bumpers to attach to the center of the window lined up with each louver to keep them rattling against the window.

I am very happy with the outcome, the fitment is great, and no rattling. The louver cost was around $750, labor cost around $600. I know I was taking a chance, but it worked out, and gives me the last touch of the 70's look of the original 240.

A few years back I was saying these louvers are a must have. I also still hold out hope someone can hack the Z's digital gauge cluster to have the old school themes like the Mustang has, for the Z the old gauges from the 240 and 280 would be cool, and the Z31 digital gauges would be amazing.

BTW, I can't tell if your gas cap is damaged or modded? Looks like the painted cover fell off? Looks broken!

I was thinking about getting them but I wanted to know if are you able to clean the glass under louvre?
I would like to have a rear window sun shade inside the car similar to the Corvette. Has anyone seen one offered?

Agree…very aesthetically pleasing 😎.

Functionally 🤔 I have my reservation as I can barely see out the back window as is 🤣. I’d be interested in an interior shot as well!
