I have taken advantage of having "manually adjusting seats" in my Nismo. According to my DL, I'm 5'8. But since I keep getting olderI'm probably shorter now. The thing is that every time I would get in or out of the car, I would kick the door panel at the bottom of the speaker. Already messing up the finish.
I've found the perfect solution. A simple pull of the lever and the sit goes all the way back. Now I have perfect clearance. Once I go in to drive it, I just pull a few notches and I'm set.
On my previous Performance model, I wouldn't be able to do that because the seats are electric.
Now my door panel is nice and clear.![]()
I've been doing this since my 370Z Nismo that it's become 2nd nature. It a good way to prevent scuffs to the bottom of the steering wheel as well.
