Interesting that you havent scraped. I was very concerned with the low clearance when i installed the awe exhaust. We measured a ground clearance of 3.5 inches at the lowest point in the rear pipes. I guess because its in the rear it wont scrape as much? How much clearance do you have on yours when its lowered?
I haven't measured, but I would guess that it's about 4 inches of clearance.

Didn’t end up getting an exhaust because I think I’m going to save up for an hks or armytrix. However the lady was nice enough to gift me a couple things for Father’s Day.

How do the Nismo intakes sound? Can you hear any difference?

Not speaking for T3R5Z, but I have heard there’s no noticeable sound change with the NISMO and AMS intakes unless you remove the covers.

My wife and I installed a Nismo Street exhaust in our garage with the car on jack stands. It took 3-4 hrs for install and adjustment.

the exhaust sounds MUCH better than videos show. Cops won’t chase you for noise but everyone will know you’re there. It’s quite loud at WOT for the Supra behind you 😁

3 weeks and an 800 mile trip later it seems to have gotten louder.

YMMV

I got the MBRP with carbon tips as I had previously used this brand on my Mustang GT and was very happy with it.

Installed it on my Z yesterday and while it is an improvement over the EV sounding stock.

It sounds ok between 2-3 rpm but anything above that it still sounds like a vacuum cleaner.

Looking at the downpipe its like 1 inch in diameter.

Ok Nissan install a pea shooter exhaust to save some money I get it. But atleast but in a decent downpipe so can fix your crappy design with an aftermarket exhaust.

I guess now I'm installing a lower DP which I really didn't want to do.

So I screwed up I didn't do my research properly and ended up buying a dual 3 inch exhaust which is massively over speced for my power goals.

My the calculations a dual 2.5 inch is good for 600 - 700 HP and a dual 3 inch for 700+

The dual 3 inch with stock power obviously isn't going to be as efficient.

Worse yet a 3 inch down pipe is almost triple what a 2.5 costs here in Australia. The factory downpipe is only 1.25 so that definitely needs replacing.

I went with Stillen since they're local and I like their manufacturing process and tolerances. Toured the facility, been there for years! Perfect fitment also. Deep sounding and just slight drone around 2-2.5K on high gear when accelerating but easily solved by downshifting a gear to punch rpms up. No drone while fwy cruising.

Keep your head up! We made decent power gains bolting up our 3" system to the factory DP. So 3" isn't always for the "max power" crowd.

Is that with a tune or stock?
Im gonna go with a 3 inch catless lower pipe
The only difference here is the installation of the system. All dyno results are taken same day, as close together as possible to create matching environmental conditions as well.

I too have the MBRP system, it is quiet once you're into it. Have you turned off the active noise cancelling and fake exhaust noises?

Once the dump pipes are there it will be a different animal. I'm glad it's quietish with the stock dumps.

I have not but I unplugged the sub yesterday as I've heard that where the ANC get played through and the drone was unbearable.

Go to Nissan, ask them to turn it off. There is a post somewhere on these forums with the details.
Then plug the sub back in, it's not just the sub

How is the Drone without the ANC? is the ANC not cancelling out the Drone? cause it was really bad without the sub plugged in. But maybe that was interfering with it.
