Hey everyone, was wondering if someone out there can answer a fitment question. I found a set of wheels that I really like the look of and they are priced exceptionally well. The factory sport wheels are 18x9 with offsets of 34 and 15. The wheels I want to purchase are also 18x9 but the offsets are +22 square. Will this be ok? I guess I could run some spacers in the rear but will it be ok without or will this setup look odd?

I’m in the same boat struggling.

Theoretically your front will stick out by 12mm more and the rear will be worse pushed in by 7mm. But I don’t know crap so don’t listen to me. Both on the Sport need to be pushed out if you ask me.

I’m going to be lurking hoping for others to help.

I agree, they all need to poke out a bit more. The front fitment would be great but the rear being tucked in a bit is a little bothersome. I could always run a spacer though. Just didn’t want to.

Specifically on the wheels you're looking at...

FRONT: 18x9+22 will sit 12mm further out than your OEM fronts. The wheel face will be 11mm further out than an OEM Perf.
- 5mm spacers will be like a Perf with 16mm spacers.
- 10mm spacers will be like a Perf running 21mm spacers.

REAR: 18x9+22 will be inset 7mm from the OEM rears. The wheel face will be inset from OEM Perf by 5mm.
*INo clue on clearance of the Sport brakes or the shape of the wheels you're looking at, but make sure you don't have interference with the calipers if you plan to run them without spacers.*
- 25mm spacers will be like a Perf with 20mm spacers.
- 30mm spacers will be like a Perf with 25mm spacers.

Make sure you've got the right lug nuts. If they'er aftermarket wheels the OEM lug nuts may not fit.

Does anyone know what offset is flush on the Z? That’s all I need to know.

Same here about wheel info...

according to this thread folks are running 20mm spacers with the perf stock wheels to clear the lugs. but 15mm front / 20mm rear is closer to flush. So based on fsuz33ā€˜s post, sport front wheel is about the same as the perf. ~1mm and the rear sport wheels are 5mm inset more than perf rear wheels.

a wheel offset calculator will help calculate offset for new wheels vs oem.

https://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator

note that z1 wheel spacer kit is the same for sport and perf wheels

The correct offset for a flush fitment would change with every wheel width change. Offset of a 9ā€ wide wheel would differ from a 9.5ā€, 10ā€, and 10.5ā€.

I figured at least the Performance people would know, but I guess there are multiple options for that model.

I guess I can measure approximate flush dimension with my stock Sport wheels and tires.

Well, even though I really like that set of wheels, I think I’m going to pass. I really don’t want to run spacers.

I found another set and the offsets are very close to factory. However, they are 18 x 9 1/2 square and I would like to run my factory 245/45 tires. I’ve looked online and a lot of people say yes they will fit no problem and others say it’s too skinny of a tire to run on a 9 1/2. Any suggestions?

Yes. Go to tire rack and or the manufacturer website and look up the specs of your exact tire. It will tell you the approved rim size range.

well. In general, it’s 20mm for stock height, and 25mm for a lowered Z. This however doesn’t work with every width and offset.
