Shifts are now shorter and more precise. Locks into the gears pretty solid. I feel like any errors are now going to be driver error. Its a bit harder to just put the gear into neutral without getting into the next on its own (for double clutch downshifting)So cool - been torn between this or Stillen. Please let us know how it is. 2nd gate is so sloppy - also how was it getting the OEM knob off heard it was a nightmare - any tips appreciated. LOOKS GREAT love the knob does it have any weight to it?
About 2.5" higher and wider due to 3pcNot too different than a stock Nismo spoiler eh? Just a smidge bigger.
I had a problem with that retainer spring. It's a three-way clip/release, and I thought it was only two.Installed a Nismo CAI. I am not a mechanic but not a noob with tools but this was an extremely frustrating job. The clamp on the bottom of the airbox is not that hard to take off when you release it the right way. Unfortunately the instructions and videos that I watched were either silent or wrong in their direction. Likewise the clamp on the turbo end were a nightmare to access.
Oh well, done now.![]()
The problem for me was that any info that I could find said to use two screwdrivers opposite to one another. Using one screwdriver in the middle and rolling the clip/detent down was sooooo much easier.I had a problem with that retainer spring. It's a three-way clip/release, and I thought it was only two.
Yup. Things us sports car drivers have to deal with. At least the Z has a more GT suspension so for "crappy" roads it makes it less painful than many other sports cars.Went on a cruise around the backroads of Victoria. I hate to say this but, I'm not having a good time driving around here, the amount of craters on the roads does not make this a pleasurable experience. Highway or not, the roads here suck
Don't get me wrong, i've driven my fair share of crappy roads in Canada, but Australia is on a different level of crap.Yup. Things us sports car drivers have to deal with. At least the Z has a more GT suspension so for "crappy" roads it makes it less painful than many other sports cars.
I have however noticed the opposite for normal cars in that Nissans in general seem to have stiffer suspension than other cars I have driven. Cars and SUV's like the Sentra and Rogue vs their competitors. Just my experience.
This is the reason I don't daily my z.Went on a cruise around the backroads of Victoria. I hate to say this but, I'm not having a good time driving around here, the amount of craters on the roads does not make this a pleasurable experience. Highway or not, the roads here suck
Anyways, heres some boulders on some hills
