It would be funny, but something companies do, like the old graphics card battles. Can't see why they'd fo a redesign missing out on months of sales.

Doubtful; that isn't AMS' MO. Their Evo 8/9/X intercoolers were all undersized from the jump and they never redesigned or resized them. They create a part and sell it; especially something as low volume as the Z HX.

In today’s episode of what am I driving instead of my Z b/c the dealer is either incompetent or just not very detailed…

I will never darken this dealer’s door again unless it’s for warranty work. Having the gear shift knob removed turned into such a debacle for a simple ask.

I ordered the anthracite center cap to try out, got it in, it fits, all good.

Ordered 3 more.

Got an email today, they only have 2 in stock and backordered Nationwide with no ETA.

I check with another dealer that shows in stock, same thing. They don't actually have any on hand and they're backordered.

So I placed a new order for 4 bronze ones. Hopefully those come in. I think I'll like it. But if those don't make it for some reason, I'll try again for a set of black ones.

Might could have tried for them on ebay but I can't access ebay from my work computer. So I ordered them where I could.

Installed CF side mirror covers and the Seibon CF rear brace.

Accessing the rear brace required gutting all interior panels from the doors back, but I like it.

The brace was matte finish, so I wrapped it in XPel PPF before installing it.
