first day out! I can’t wait to break it in before the first track day of the year. It was also my first time with a clutch type LSD and it scared the shit out of me lol apparently the clunking is normal with the Nismo pro GT LSD.

I was actually shocked you went AWE! I was betting Invidia or Magnaflow as the wildcard.
I think awe has them beat on sound and drone..

I didn’t like the N1’s spring / sliding design for the flex connectors on the Y section. Magnaflow - i did not like the anti-drone cans at the exit but i do like their v-band connections. lol

I was concerned with the size of the x-pipe section of others with smaller tubing and i like the idea of matching up with 3” lowers. I also wanted to try the anti-drone mufflers. still waiting on jethot - 8 weeks for 2k, so maybe another couple of weeks.

i had the N1 single and dual on my S and it was love /hate. i loved the sound but needed ear plugs. drone was tolerated with the top down, but crazy with the top up. wife refused to ride in it.

Grew up a chevy fan - But i have a soft spot for the 80’s 5.0 rust-stang (but not enough to buy one) after test driving a brand new ‘85 and took it to near top speed - it pegged the 85mph speedo in 2nd with 3 more gears to go - lol. On the test drive, dumped the clutch and it would not move on the little stock tires, shifted to second and it finally started moving and quickly pegged the speedo and i ran through 3rd & 4th. The salesman said the car had a hard first 30 miles and laughed…

Then i was brain washed with imports due to friends - the first was a teacher that let me drive his 280zx, then a friend with a 80’s prelude, a couple of Celia’s (one was a brand new ‘86), CRX….

... And because around here Mustangs seem to outnumber the local squirrel population 2 to 1, I’m really sick of seeing and hearing about them, period...
Ha! I've seen some really weird Mustang mods around here, usually with exhausts that sound like a garbage truck lumbering by.

Thanks and I agree . The 911 and Classic Z shapes and curves are beautiful forms.

We went up into the mountains yesterday. Wifey drove and I “coached”. There's a sweet canyon road after McClure Pass and she got a chance to open her up and hit 117 on a nice straightaway. I was proud she listened and drove it like she stole it.

I got my replacement tip and swapped out the exhaust. Now, just need to get a few miles on it to break it in.

I will be doing my cat back exhaust in my home garage as well. Any tips or things to watch out for?
