Did you personally try to slide it around a bit? I do it all the time in my old Titan in the rain, but not so much in the Z, too scared to crash the Z. Lol!
No. With the S007s, you couldn't avoid it, but with the PS4S, they grip when the S007s would break loose. Still the Z could break the PS4S loose in the wet if you pushed her. Sane driving today. No reason to set off the hood poppers.

The PS4S are great! I had them on my 370z. I can't believe that the Sport Max dunlops on my current Z are already half gone at 2k miles, and that's not even driving crazy by no means. I'll be lucky to get 5k miles out of them.

Which exhaust do you have on your Nismo? I just ordered the Stillen competition exhaust. I hope I made the right choice. It's only 2.5 and sounds the best with stock down pipes we will see.
Stock. I’m happy with the exhaust. Big reason I got the NISMO was because it already had stuff I wouldn’t feel the need to change. No plans for power adders, other than small stuff that doesn’t require a tune. As far as exhaust-only on my Z for sound, and this may be controversial here, but the only 6 cylinder I love to hear rip is a Porsche flat 6. I think if I did exhaust I’d go for a valved setup like FI (Frequency Intelligent), or Armytrix. Maybe get creative and fab valves into an HKS system.

weighed the nismo for a second time after putting on these paragon 2 piece rear rotors. Last time it was ~3606 pounds

I need to get these rotors. 2 piece rotors are one of the best weight savings you can do.

Yeah, the antigravity battery as well is a good one. The AP front brake kit definitely saved heaps as well. Those Akebono calipers are straight up bricks compared to the AP ones. I also took out the subwoofer because I'm going to VIR tomorrow but that's probably 10-15 pounds.

Honestly i'm pretty amazed I'm at 3,560 but i never did weigh the car totally stock and I think someone posted about their nismo weighing ~3,650 bone stock which is 57 pounds less than the listed weight. I think any weight savings from here on out will be expensive and with very diminishing returns.
I would love to try swapping the seats for something like the Recaro Podium as well. I think these seats would look so good in the Nismo but that's a lotta money I could put towards MCS coilovers.

I must admit, getting a current Nismo in the 35 hundred-ish is impressive. Those particular Recaros look fantastic. I just blew some money on an exhaust, but should be doing more important things like what you are doing.

Cool to see guys like you really using the car the way it was intended for. I'm for sure doing the 2 piece rotors next.

I actually have some paragon rotors for the Nismo fronts that have seen only one track weekend and a few weeks of daily driving before I went to the AP kit. You can message me if you're interested in buying them for a good discount off the new price

Do you have the rotors for the back? I might be interested in those for the complete set. You could just DM me for what you think you would want for them.

We did sound deadening today, I feel dead now lol. First time I have ever used the stuff but the audio is so bad in this car im desperate. I was probably overkill with the way it looked considering it will all be covered but im a doofus. Spent time making templates for the odd shaped areas, but may have saved time because I was able to flip them (mostly) for the opposite side. I just used the paper backing off of the used sheets, nice and pliable. Was one sheet short in the trunk kit to cover everything I wanted. I think for most people it would be plenty though. I ordered one more so I can go deeper inside the wheel well area.

I turned off the fake engine noise and noise cancelation. Subtle but noticeable difference, car sounds more like it should and the audio sounds less tinny and more full/round.

I had that done when I first got the car (or at least thought I did), but after installing my Cerwin Vega Sub they seemed to have turned back on. The ASE did for sure because its been blowing out my ear drums. I ordered a Nissan dongle and will do a day of Consult to turn it off myself. Im not letting dealer touch my car again unless absolutely necessary. Also plan on doing a local Z meetup and we can do a ANC/ASE shut off party if people pitch in for the day of Consult.

Finished installing the Stillen sway bars this afternoon. Yesterday did the front in maybe an hour and today I did the rear in about two hours. On a lift with power tools it would take an hour. On my back with jackstands it is what it is. I'm on the middle setting in front and the soft setting in back and it is noticeably flatter in curves, and I swear it's not as apt to break loose when I give it the beans. Still only 2400 miles on the OEM Bridgestones but the Contis will be here tomorrow. Not sure if I want to put them on going into winter.

Installed a Tsu Milk Net handbrake grip and boot that I bought when I was in Japan. I tried to buy one before, but they always cancelled my order. They had no problem shipping one to my mother-in-law's house in Okinawa😆. I feel that it gives the rubber handbrake a more finished look.
