Thank you.
Hopefully you get some direction on your situation soon. For me, took 2 weeks, 3 ER visits (ea w/ hospital stay) and my gastro (from his vacation) raising heck with the surgeon to do a robotic exploratory lap. 1/2” incision for a camera immediately turned into pushing the robot away, opening me up and going M.A.S.H 4077th on my innards. The surgeon’s quote re. my small intestine was “shredded tissue paper.”

Medical stuff can be a pain, but practically every time it will work its way to those that really know what they’re doing and put your personal care first.

Good luck!
Thanks man. Sounds like your gastro was on top of things and took initiative to get things going in the right direction!

The Dr who scheduled my MRI...I haven't used him before but so far I like him better than the practitioner I've been seeing for 2 decades. I feel like it's time for a change.

2nd oil change at 13 months of ownership with 4,698 on the odometer.

A bit of metal on the magnetic oil plug. Last oil change was at 1,200 miles.

Mishimoto catch can had a good bit of gunk.

I was surprised to see I had scraped the Z1 undercover at some point.

Mobile1 0/20 with Nissan filter.

The Z1 funnel makes the job very clean up top.

This brings up something I’m curious about. My next oil change (home/diy) is coming up in about 1,500 mi. I got a couple of filters, crush washers, magnetic drain plug, and funnel from Z1…FYI, their funnel seems like a quality piece, bigger and bulkier than I thought it would be.

I went with the Z1 plug because the magnet sticks out. On some plugs, possibly the NISMO (not sure) the magnet is flush with the end of the bolt. It seems if you’re trying to catch as much ferrous metal as possible you’ll want the most surface area on the magnet.

A lot of us like to take extreme care with our engines frequent oil changes, oil tests, etc…).Wouldn’t the protruding type snag more particulate, or am I overthinking it?

How many bolts on the undercover?

Is a new crush washer required each time you change the oil?

I have the Z1 undercover so just two 10mm bolts on the service panel for full oil and filter change access.

The stock cover has 14 I believe.

I use a new crush washer every time, not sure if it's required or not. I kind of doubt it but better safe than sorry.

It’s been a busy weekend, in addition to the Nismo Street Catback, the wife and I stripped the wax, clay bar’d and did a 2 coat ceramic seal. We are headed out on a trip tomorrow, the Utah bugs should slide right off. When I was cleaning the rear window and found this. I smiled, an Easter egg on the Z LOL

Those centercaps really pop on that car. They're PERFECT.

Im glad, you liked them, the car was a little too monochromatic. I got them on EBay. They are plastic inserts, you have to follow the instructions exactly to mold them to the curve of the cap. He has them in different colors.
Thanks!!

Curious if even the Nismo has fuel starvation issues at below half tank, experience that? I doubt the tank and any baffling is any different from the Perf or even Sport?

Takes a physical therapist to fix it right, nice job! :)

Pics of the installed CZP oil cooler? I’m contemplating.
Inwill take a picture in the morning, I thought I had taken some pictures before I put the bumper back on, but I guess I forgot to.

I dropped the Z off at the shop on Sunday night (rear ended back in July, finally getting it fixed through the other driver's insurance) and my package from Z1 has been delayed for the second day in a row. Rental car company tried to give me a Mitsubishi Mirage and it may be the worst car I've ever driven...brought it back and my only other option was to pay out of pocket to upgrade to a Charger, so now I'm pretending to be a sea captain driving that boat around. 🚢

One good thing did happen today though...I finally got my new plate in the mail:

Yes, it does have the issue. It happened to me once, so I started topping my fuel off at 1/2 tank when tracking it.

It's been a busy few days in my garage! Installed AlphaRex headlights and taillights as well as the Nismo side mirror covers. Tomorrow are the TruControl install, installing the clear lamp covers, LED bulbs, and putting on a new front lip. I'll get pics and vids soon!
