I've just purchased a new 2025 Nissan Z Sport. I got the Pearl White and Black two-tone color which was an additional $1295. I was able to get my windows tinted with Llumar ACT window film which is charcoal dyed. I opted for 30% on my front sides, 15% on my rear window, 15% on the small windows behind the front, and 15% on the upper part of the front windshield to the AS-1 line. I'm having difficulty exiting and entering my driveway which has a pretty steep elevation from the street and then levels off into the garage. I've watched YouTube videos on how to proceed at an angle into the driveway to prevent scraping the bottom of the vehicle. It also scrapes when I'm backing out of the driveway onto the street. Even if I drive really slow and at an angle. I will be inquiring with an excavation company to assess how much it would be to level out my driveway. I'm also wanting to get some help and advice on ways I can raise my 2025 Nissan Z Sport. I'm thinking maybe upgrading my tires to 19" or 20" as well as getting coilovers. If anyone has any suggestions I would surely appreciate it. I want to take care of my vehicle. I don't really want to break the bank! What would be the least costly to accomplish my goal of raising my vehicle as well as help in overall performance.

  • These were two options that my AI search came up with that may solve my problem:
  • Air Lift Performance Air Suspension Kit: Offers adjustable height and damping for a customizable ride.
  • Lifting Springs: Look for brands that specialize in performance springs for the Nissan Z, which can provide a modest lift.

I probably can alleviate hitting the pavement if I'm able to raise my vehicle 1.25" to 1.75."

If you’re set on raising the static height of the car with springs, etc, then so be it, but it will look wonky, imho.
You could do a set of KW v3 coilovers and add the KW HLS kit. This will give you the ability to raise the car whenever you want. Driveway, that bagel shop with the crappy entrance, etc…
Not cheap, but you solve your problem AND end up with a super nice and super trick suspension setup. Might even be cheaper than redoing the driveway.

If you want something quick and reversible until you get your driveway squared away, look into a set of spring spacers. Doesn't look like anyone's mention this but regardless how you raise it chances are your alignment is going to be out of spec to the point another alignment might not be able to correct it. Your way better off doing something with the driveway.

I also purchased the 10-year, 100,000 mile protection plan in addition to the 5-year, 60,000 miles routine maintenance plan. So I'm pretty sure any performance modifications would more than likely void my warranty. Here are some pics of my driveway that causes me to scrape underneath my vehicle.

i see those work for a lot of driveways 👍🏽

2 things...

#1. Youre probably scraping on the wind deflector under the front bumper. See pic (the image is from Google showing a Performance. The Sport doesnt have the front lip). Its held in by 3 12mm bolts. I removed mine. I also have a steep driveway, and that part was scraping. After removing it, I dont scrape. Unless Im not angled enough, and the secondary wind deflector will scrape. I also back in and it helps get the front tires on the driveway, so that the bumper clears and doesnt scrape. See my explanation below on leaving the driveway...

#2. Youre not going at a sharp enough angle leaving or driving onto the driveway. If you are, its the wind deflector scraping

For leaving, I use the width of the driveway, where the tire almost touches the grass. Far edge of the driveway, then angle to the other edge while going onto the street (hope that makes sense). Know your angle when you didnt scrape, and do that same angle when driving up the driveway

Good luck with the driveway issue and hope you get it resolved

I've had the same issue. My driveway rises up to the street which is level. There is a dip in between to channel storm water. The driveway is wide enough for 2 cars. So I've found that hitting it in the right place can make a difference. Try coming in at various places, you might find you can clear if you hit the sweet spot. Also I've seen my neighbors install a rubber thing in the gutter to reduce the depth of the gutter, but is hollow to allow run off under it. Maybe you could get one of those. I used to have a car I got used that had been lowered. I had to get OEM springs and swap back to get the clearance needed.

I'm not raising my car. I'll be using the adjustable curb ramps until I'm able to get my driveway leveled off. May be a bit costly but it will be a good home improvement project.

get some lumber and cut to make a ramp. shitty part is you have to place and remove ramps for every use. or just leave the ramps.

I have a relative who put 1/8 “ thick steel plates over the drainage “dip” at the bottom her drive. It lets the drainage water flow under the plate and takes away the initial steep angle. A $100 forever fix.
