Probably the same. I got off ebay from a junkyard. It was from another nissan model. Don't remember what, but found the info from another thread in this community. I also got the tow hook and made sure it fit. That was part of the normal emergency kit that Nissan stupidly decided to not include...
Suggest you actually mount the wheel front and back to make sure it will work. I did with mine and have peace of mind. The wheel must have a very deep offset to clear the brake caliper, especially in the rear.
Love the cloud. Like you I've had a few 'z's' . But my definition is a little more loose. I had an original 69 model 240 in my teen years around 77 to 78. I had to sell it because of too many speeding tickets among other things. I had 2 240SX's, both 94's, bought new. First one got rear ended...
On most cars the slip joint is on the tranny end and is designed to get lubrication from the tranny fluid. I love the design. Didn't know what a great idea it was until I had a shaft drive motorcycle that doesn't have this feature and you have to disassemble the whole back end every 40K miles to...
The maintenance schedule lists in periodic maintenance "Propeller Shaft" - Is this the drive shaft? What would the maintenance entail? On every car I've ever owned it is maintained on an as needed basis - if you get vibration or something, fix it. Otherwise no periodic maintenance. What am I...
Interesting point. I was wondering about tire pressure. I have my doubts about the accuracy of the TPMS system. I have inflated the tires to proper pressure measured with a pretty accurate gauge and the TPMS thinks they are all 6lb over pressure. Maybe I should look into that.
When I first got my car I was impressed with traction control since it's easy to break the backend loose. It would hold it straight. But recently I've had a couple instances where I was pulling into traffic and it fishtailed. My question is, is it now not working? Or am I expecting too much? In...
My question is not about the release height or height relative to the seat which is probably adjustable. My question is about the height from the floor, which is based on design of clutch pedal and wouldn't be adjustable.
My question is not about the release point, but why are the brake and clutch arm length not the same? I've heard all this stuff about heel toe shifting. Maybe something to do with that? I have no idea what heel toe shifting is. I'm 66 and have had many cars, only 2 autos in all my years. I've...
This is just curiosity on my part. Maybe someone has input on this. I have a manual tranny 24 heritage. The clutch pedal is not horizontally aligned with the brake pedal. I've had at least a dozen 3 pedal cars in my lifetime. Some have alignment, some not. I've always thought it was just sloppy...
I've had the same issue. My driveway rises up to the street which is level. There is a dip in between to channel storm water. The driveway is wide enough for 2 cars. So I've found that hitting it in the right place can make a difference. Try coming in at various places, you might find you can...
Not suggesting it's a software issue, although it could be. I'm thinking first - this is way outside of a mechanic's skillset. I'd take a look at the inputs to the cruise control. Check the little sensors up front, maybe dirty or loose.
Probably just the regular electronic gremlins. Computers don't do well in the heat/cold/humidity of a car. I have a gremlin unrelated the touchscreen will just do something random like turn on the radio or exit nav all by itself.
It's been awhile since I did it, but don't remember using any tools. You should be able to do it by hand. Remember, when you are going to need to do this typically you will be stranded on the side of the road and probably won't have any tools. So it should be designed for that.
