Under the hood carbon fiber

Recently put some carbon fiber under the hood!

Looks great. I like that you are going with all one theme like Z1. Do they make brake fluid and battery covers in carbon?


Also this may not be a rabbit hole you want to go down but if you so choose you can polish up the tops of those intercoolers to give it a more uniform look. It's was more of a task than I thought but I like the outcome. You can do it by hand and it's only the little crevices that are a pain

This is what I got mine to come out as. It's not perfect as you can't get under those hoses

I used a can of never dull wadding cotton to cut into the oxidation then cleaned everything up with just some non abrasive carnauba paste wax on an applicator pad as this reduces the micro scratches in the aluminum

Also I was thinking about the same one you have, but at $700 I thought I could use the money for bracing etc… but really love the look of the Nismo
