I’m tempted to grab this on sale plus 10% discount and install in the spring. I put PS4Ss on a couple months ago, so now I have a proper set of tires to consider the Stillen Trucontrol.

As far as using the app, is it something that you have to do before you start each trip or pull off to the side of the road because there’s just no way to safely Change settings on the fly while you’re driving? How does it interact with the D-mode Sport mode button? Like if I started my trip in Tru control Eco mode and then at some point on the highway, I hit the Z’s D-mode to go into Sport mode, would that just put me in the OEM “normal“ Sport mode?
The app remembers your last selection as does the module under the hood, you do not have to do anything if you want to stay on the last selected map. You can change the map in the app while you are driving down the road no problem. You also do not even have to open the app if you are staying with your last selected map. Also there is a default 5 minute delay before the module kicks in after each start, I assume to let your car oil warm up, but you can customize that delay or turn it off completely if you want, again the module will remember your last setting on that too.

How it interacts with the sport mode button I have no idea, but put it this way, since I've had the TruControl installed I have had no reason to mess with sport mode.

If you keep the app open on your phone and want to change modes it’s just touching the screen, other than that I set it up before I leave or pull over. I’ve got a Sport 6MT so I can’t speak to the other questions

Look for member Will Stillen and PM him. He’ll give you a nice discount for being a forum member.

I’m +1 on Transor Z, best bang for the $ mod you can do. One run on Race 7 and you’ll understand 😁

I'd like add that anyone interested in this be very careful. The car get extremely squirrelly. You will go sideways in 2nd gear at 40 mph and up.
I’ve got the Sport trim w/6 MT and the open diff and I really have to manage the torque. I was very surprised when it even broke on me in third. I’m not a track guy so in Race 7 it has more power than I have skills. (But it’s fun developing those skills!!)

I haven't had 3rd brake loose yet. I've heard people do it though. Mine is the performance trim.

Perfomance AT, I broke loose at 65mph when I punched it on race 7, still on the stock potenzas. Not sure what gear it down shifted to I was too busy straightening out and letting off the gas.

This video is launch control on map 5, 0-60 5 seconds, 60-100 5 seconds, this was with the potenzas spinning in 1st 2nd and 3rd. I only run 93 octane.

When I get new tires I can't wait to launch in map 7 and see what happens.

70 hp on stock components? That's quite a jump. Need comparable dyno sheets though (??), good reviews here so far.

This is 100% accurate. Even in the middle Sport map (5), the stock tires can easily break lose. I attempted a pull in Race (6) and literally just sat there while the tires refused to bite on the pavement.

Also, another +1 to get this if you haven't. Very easy to install and very noticeable difference. However, I need to re-route mine since aftermarket engine covers (specifically the Z1) don't allow for as much room to run the cable underneath.
