I like the Eibach prokits in my track Z33, but they are progressive (vs. linear) springs. They do help handling overall, but you feel bumps and potholes more on ride. They also lower the Z enough that ground clearance and camber setup become issues. Are you saying the Swift springs don't have ANY of these compromises?

That looks really nice!

Few questions for you:

1. Did you install the spacers and swift springs yourself?

2. Are those Nissan stock 18" wheels or larger wheels?

3. If I can't install the spacers and springs myself, where should I take the Z to get those parts installed? Would a tire shop be the right place to install those parts?

Thanks!

Stock oem 19 inch wheels
Shop installed spacers and springs then after 3-4 days I got a alignment
Find a speed shop near you or a performance shop.

Hey how are the springs doing? I just installed mine and the car is looking amazing. Just reporting that i still have yet to do an alignment but as for bumps and higher clearance elevation i am experiencing like a rubber noise when i drop. My guy who installed them for me is saying its the rubber in the shock, since the travel is shortened, any thoughts?

@Ali023 Did you get the Z1 "Stock" or Z1 "Lowered" spacers?

I asked Z1 in their chat feature, and I think they contradicted themselves. (They said the "Lowered" ones are "wider".

I won't be tracking my car, but do not want to hit a NJ pothole and eff up my inner fender lip.

I had a little back and forth with Z1 about them. They are 20mm for stock and 25mm for lowered. This is for looks. The ark of the suspension naturally cambers inward when you lower the car. So in order for the wheels to look more flush on a lowered Z, they need to stick out a little further. If you are worried, 20mm will work no matter what. Hope that made sense. I know its a little late of a response.

I was thinking about picking up these springs. How are they holding up and have you done any other mods to the suspension? Thank you.

I just installed these over the weekend. As the only available lower springs on the Z there isn’t many choices.

I have installed H&R and Eibach springs previously. Also a few coil overs, in the past.

Rears are pretty easy, as it’s a divorced set up, only took once bolt and it was simple.

Fronts are are a bit harder than the 2 above mentioned brands if you don’t have one of those shock machines that allows you to compress the spring. I ended up using the car to compress the springs, careful not to bend the dust shields…
It’s a bit lower than I like, I have Z1 CF front lip, and it’s pretty low. The ride is firmer, and not as floaty as the stock OEM springs. Body roll is okay, it’s improved a bit.

Beyond reducing body roll, how do the swift springs impact side-to-side transitions? Do they make the Z quicker to respond than OEM? How about under braking? is there less dive under heavy braking? Can you feel what the car is doing more?

When I added Eibach Pro-kit springs to my Redline Z33 track model, I felt suspension performance was better and fit my wish to make the car more neutral in overall handling.
