How does the trucontrol go on the nismo? Do you get much extra out of it vs the performance?

The vendor said that you get extra HP however it's not like extra + 20, but it's about the same just slightly better

My understanding is the 20 hp extra on the nismo will only yield 50 HP from the Trucontrol because the nismo already has a bump in tune. I may be wrong. Stillen only ran 91 octane to get that power so expect a few extra running 93 or 94 depending on where you live.

I wouldn't know about the performance but I would think the Nismo makes less since it has slightly higher boost. I need to schedule a dyno and do a before and after the unit being on.

Rumor has it, Stillens relationship with race chip ended for the V1 so they moved on to a different route and tuner.

Had my trucontrol on for about 1000-2000 miles with nismo intakes, added a good 20-40hp on the butt dyno. I took it off and put in a 3 inch cat back, z1 premium y pipe with the isr single exit, and now I’m getting the same boost as I did on map 5 with the stillen. I do notice that while I get the same boost as I did with the stillen, without it they get to that boost level a bit slower and I’m not sure if it’s important at all, I just felt like the stillen was pushing the turbos to spool a hair too fast.

This is an extremely bizarre comment.

How are you getting more boost from a Cat-Back? I believe 15 psi is max stock and I'm under the impression that the computer will not let it go above 15 psi.

1000 to 2000 miles is a pretty big gap. You're not sure how long it was on? And why run map 5? I've been running map 7 since break in. I'm at 7300 miles with no problems.

And how the hell can you be sure the turbos were spooling up "too" fast?
