Ride is firm but not harsh or bouncy, feels well-controlled! Firmer than stock for sure, and went thru RR crossings and some dips, no bottoming out, that progressive design helps ramp up the rate quite a bit, all very streetable still. Body roll is much flatter, I'm also on the stiffest Stillen setting on the front bar. The Z is way more direct and alive now on turns.

I went with alignment that is good for both street and track right now, and adjust later when needed. For serious tracking, tho, do need much more front neg camber, only aftermarket arms can do that, like SPL.
Yep, u notice how precise and direct the steering is now. I did the full stiff and full soft . Absolutely better confidence on curves.

Yea you on on track. First thing i did was swap oem tires for Michelin PS4, then swift lowering springs , then whiteline sways with end links (alignment). Then wider/bigger wheels .car feels like a Performance auto now.
for sure. I’m planning a wheel and tire upgrade later this year when the stock tires run out. PS4S and prob Nismo LM-RS1. Not 100% sure on wheels yet.

Prob springs and alignment, and adjust Stillen sways one setting stiffer at the same time. That should be all I need (I hope) haha

I'll swap my oem shocks for a nice aftermarket set soon too.

AFAIK Stock and Performance swaybars are the exactly the same. Not an upgrade piece for any new RZ34. Mine just sits in the spares pile.

Interesting question. 370 is lighter with a lower front spring rate. Doesn’t necessarily mean the sways are less stiff than the Z though. Google AI says the sways on the Z ā€are generally stiffer than the 370zā€ but no references or data to support that. Curious if anyone knows.

Is it an ā€œupgradeā€ for the Z34/370Z?
Hah if anybody wants mine it’s worth a dinner out $60 gets them both, will not ship tho. DM me for local pick up. Only 1,650 miles

Hi pals, I'm new to the world of aftermarket wheels and tyres and hoping some of you knowledgeable folk can help confirm my research. Many thanks in advance!

My Z (I think it's called the Performance model in USA) has the stock wheels and tyres, which I believe are as follows:
Front: 19x9.5 +40 with 255/40 tyres
Rear: 19x10 +30 with 275/35 tyres

The stock tyres have a sidewall of 102mm front and 96.25mm rear.

I've lowered it with HKS coils and added the Z1 lowered spacers which I think are 25mm and give a pretty aggressive fitment - the photo is before alignment, there is less camber in the rear now.

I'm thinking of going with Work Emotion ZR10s
Front: 19x9.5 +23
Rear: 19x10.5 +15

This should give a bit less wheel poke, and more scope to go lower?

Then for rubber I was thinking of going pretty thicc with ps4s in
Front: 275/35
Rear: 305/30

I believe that's maxing out the rubber relative to the wheel width, but it should give sidewalls of 96.25mm front and 91.5mm which is the closest I could get to stock (2.1% speedo difference).

Am I on the right track here, or am I smoking crack? Any help is super appreciated.

Those sizes are better than stock
They will look ok
They are very far from whats possible.

For reference Volk recommends 19x9.5 +22, 19x10.5 +12 with 265 front and 305 rears for the Z34 a decade ago for stock fender fitment.

If you wanna play with aggressive sizing let me know and we can play
