I did my first track day and had fun so looking to invest in a square wheel and tyre setup, so wondering what people are going for?
There's a thread here https://www.nissanzclub.com/forum/threads/18-x-10-5-square-fitment.8161/ with lots of good info, so I was also considering going 18x10.5 with...
I had the R's but they were too harsh. It's much less hassle to go with a true coil in the rear than doing lowered with divorced and adjustable mid links.
I'm looking to get some track wheels and tyres too. Is 18 inch a better option than 19? There is certainly more tyre choice in 18.
Are you on 40 profile too @Maximum_Jars?
My CZP pan leaked a little at first which I think was just not having the gasket perfectly seated when I installed it. I gave the bolts a little more torque and that solved the problem.
Yeah I'm pretty happy with the rear of my car, just looking for a bit more turn in. I'll start with the "hard" front and medium rear and tune from there
I just found the info. Strange that the front bar is softer than stock.

I went with Whiteline, which of the mounting holes are people running?
I was surprised that the rear bar was thinner than stock, and the middle hole is approx the same as stock, so it seems only the closest hole would be firmer
About to track my Z for the first time and can't wait! Thanks for all the great info in this thread.
I'll have to sort my brakes out by the sound of things...
My tune is complete, and WOW am I glad I went with Sonictuned. Other than the stress of having to do a couple of 4th gear pulls to redline, the whole process was extremely smooth. It was also really fun to go through the process from base map to revision and then the final tune. I actually got...
That's a good video, thanks.
MCA are quite specific about not adjusting the shock length and I think the current setting would be fine with stock fitment, but since I'm pretty flush I'm getting contact with the strange bulge in the arch liner.
I've raised the front slightly and I'm getting...
Yeah it's the fitment not the size, they're only a few mm bigger diameter than standard, and I was getting the front contact with the stock tyres anyway. For suspension I'm with a popular Aussie brand - MCA. They can go quite a bit higher so that's always an option.
I was more wondering what...
M/T, luckily I have a fairly quiet highway nearby and just went out late one weeknight for the 4th gear pull. It is a bit scary however.
I did an idle log, and two 3rd gear pulls each in a different map. Then I got sent a revision and did 3rd and 4th gear pulls, now I have the final and need to...
I recently put some meatier tyres on my lowered Z and I'm getting some rubbing in the arch liners. The rears were buzzing on a plastic tab on one of the bumper mounts - I trimmed the tab and that's mostly solved.
The fronts are hitting a bit of the arch liner that has a small bulge and are...
The stock tyres are junk. Just wait until something better (like PS4s) goes on sale in your area. I went with Advan v107s and the difference in grip vs. the standard bridgestone is ridiculous.
