It's the same kit that's been out for a while in the European market for the 370Z. I do like that the rear adjustments can be made without modifying interior trim panels.

I'm not sure if the Z1 page's spring rates are correct because the rz34 and z34 kits on Z1 both list nearly double the spring rate that the Ohlins website lists.

It's interesting how very different these are compared to the JDM Ohlins. I'm curious what benefit there would be to having two regions develop kits for the same platform independently of each other, other than tuning for specific driving conditions.

If you take the values from Ohlin's website, the rears appear quite different. I wonder if the Japanese is the raw spring rate not corrected for motion ratios and the American one is rate as installed with motion ratios? Or is Z1 trying to translate the Ohlin's EU rates using the motion ratio's (doesn't really make sense because rear should change more than the front)

Ohlins EU site: 10.2k front/ 7.1k rear

Ohlins Japan(Nismo): 12k front/ 13k rear

Ohlins according to Z1: 20.4k front 13.2k

There is 100% something wonky going on with how spring rates are being translated

I have Aragostas, a JDM company (worked with AST)
Look at their chart (from their website directly).
I have Type-S, 14/10's for my Z34
All of their RZ34 options are in the same ballpark, and more importantly, are stiffer in front

If there's a way to have someone contact Ohlins Japan/Nismo and clarify, that'd be useful

Maybe have Sakebomb take a look. If they work with Ohlins that may have a contact
