^^ what shade of blue was that Z?
It’s the Bayside Blue. Looks more awesome in person, not as bright blingy as the Seiran.

Two years after buying my Z, I've now seen a grand total of two (2) Zs in the wild.

Today I spied a New Sight Orange Heritage Edition heading eastbound on Miramar Road (near Commerce). I was so excited I wanted to flash my high beams, but then I realized I was driving my wife's car, and it would just be...weird.

Any forum members or Miramar Road in San Diego today?

I mentioned this in another post but I have only seen 2 in the last 4 years. I saw a yellow one before they officially were on sale here, so I'm assuming it was a press car for a youtuber or something (yes it was yellow). Then a week ago I saw a blue one on the other side of the highway and we were both staring at each other.

I am yet to see a single Z on the road in my city. It's not like there isn't a Nissan dealership in every suburb, but I'm stopped multiple times a week regarding my NISMO by pedestrians who walk past and I've had plenty of local "rev heads" hmu for a race. Lol at those newer model mustang clowns who forget they have to be able to take these corners, I owned an 10.2 sec '69 and I'd be screwed trying to race a Z in it unless it's a straight line....... Oh and those KIA owners, omg just STOP. I don't know who told you it was a contender ?. To the blue supra - I dunno what happened bud, yes I've seen the specs and results but again, straight lines are nothing like what we got into, losing your nerve is NOT on me or your car.

Plenty of 370's and 350 owners sharing a hand wave with me but I'm yet to see the new models sharing the roads with me?? Usually you buy a car and suddenly they're everywhere.

Yesterday I was out driving and saw 2 Ferraris, 2 Lambos, 1 Lotus Esprit, 2 McLarens and a countless number of Porsches and about 10 GR86s (not that I'm counting ;) ). Last month I saw 2 Nissan GTRs but they looked to be the last gen and not the current gen. I also drive by a number of Nissan dealerships and haven't seen any Zs but I guess they would be locked up in the showroom anyways.

I get a lot of head turns and people saying 'nice car' at the gas station.

In Tallahassee it would take me year to catch that list. Although that’s about a weeks worth of 86’s. I live in the Land of Chargers, Challengers and Mustangs. trying to think of the nicest car I saw today and I‘ve got nothing. Did see a ‘55 Chevy that was in OK condition.

We have a lot of nice cars over here and I see an endless line of Teslas every day. It's rare to see something that isn't white, black or grey. The only other yellow cars I have seen are Taxis, Highway Trucks, Beetles, Minis or exotic cars (Lambos+Porches mostly) and classic cars.

About a month ago I parked at a local Best Buy to meet a detail service guy. A McLaren 720S was parked there so I parked fairly close to it. While waiting for my guy, the owner of the McLaren and his boy were walking up to their car and was admiring my Nismo. They complimented the car and I joked that I’d trade the Z for their car. It’s pretty cool the amount of love and admiration the Nismo gets as it is truly a rare vehicle to see on the road or anywhere for that matter.

That's exactly my experience, older model GTR's, more GR86's and BRZ's than anything, Lambos, Ferrari, Porsche .... a dude even drove into the subway car park with a tubbed out 8 second Holden HSV wagon with a big block and slicks the other day - about as street legal as a brick of heroin, but not a single Z.

That's rare to experience in my .... experience.

The dealer I bought my Z from had four of them when I was there in February for my oil change.

Granted they were two nismos and two sports (both automatics) with nothing off MSRP so I can see why they weren't selling. Plus that dealer forces a $2,000 USD add on package to it. I honestly would have went elsewhere if my car wasn't the only Seiran Blue with Blue interior within a few hundred miles.

Just funny how the salesman pushed how they were one of the top Nissan dealers (in the state or country, can't remember which), and they had a large surplus of inventory.

haha, yeah a 2 str is not being moved quickly once the enthusiasts have made first pass at the dealerships which is good news for us.

Honestly I hate paying full price for such a depreciating asset such as a car, I much prefer picking up "dealer used" vehicles and getting what is essentially a new car with some km's/miles on the clock from a few test drives, I love buying them because they rip a bunch of cream off the top (the amount you lose when you drive it away after paying full price) so they can get an expensive paper weight out of the yard.

Every "dealer used" vehicle I've bought has still had the "vent spews" (little rubber hairs on new tyres) still on the tyres and I've paid 10-20k less on an 80-100k vehicle.

my local Nissan dealer still has the 2022 Z sport for sale and it's got 1500 kms on the clock and the price is at least 20k less. It's in near perfect condition. The 2024 Z NISMO they had for 11 months was shipped to a buyer in another state (probably cos it was in grey) and they paid full price plus shipping.

It should be noted that I'll blow an excessive amount of money on a Harley custom build ($100k+)
