So after buying the Autel box noted here I was successful in turning off my ASE and ANC ON MY ‘24 performance. It sounds like ‘25 and up cars will also require the $125 Autoauth subscription which does indeed suck. (And I didn’t buy) Again, if you are near SE PA / Lancaster area I’ll happily do this for you. I can report too that going down the road the bass is now much better with my stock audio system. I didn’t really notice any increased road noise with ANC off either. (My tires seem stupid noisy but grip is good)

I tried using my Autel 808 this morning to turn off the ASC. It did not work. I have the AutoAuth subscription too. Kept telling me it couldn't make a connection.

Now, I have a 2026 Sport model. To turn off the ASC the scanner wants to access the amplifier. I don't have one, as the Sport doesn't have Bose. So, can anyone confirm if the Sport model even has ANC/ASE?

The Sport does not have ANC/ASE.

Anyone know if this has other functions for the Z as well? Like running the heat exchanger pumps to purge bubbles, and cycling the ABS pump after replacement for the same reason?

FYI, the official website has a crazy good deal right now ($360). I just bought one and it now says it supports 2026 models. We will see how it goes for 2027 models, and I would be happy to help fellow Z owners here in Central Texas...

Just a friendly FYI to anyone here considering turning off ANC and/or ASE for the purpose of not wanting those features to negatively impact any upgraded aftermarket audio equipment (which they will); there's no need to turn them off IF you are bypassing the factory Bose amplifier (which hopefully you are to begin with) since the processing and output of BOTH those features actually happens IN the factory Bose amplifier. Removing the factory Bose amplifier from the audio chain already completely removes both ANC and ASE from the audio chain for aftermarket audio equipment.

PS: It's also good to keep this in mind if your plan is to revert your Z back to stock Bose audio system at any point in future, as doing so will automatically reinsert both ANC and ASE so you won't have to then reprogram anything like you would if going the OBD route.
