That is crazy. Lol. I guess that shop thinks that if a tree falls in the forest and no one’s there to hear it, it DOESN’T make any noise. 😂
Another thing I've heard from multiple mechanics is "aftermarket suspension parts will make noise".

From a regular auto shop tech's perspective, I understand why they wouldn't want to work on sports cars. I'd have to go to a performance specialist shop. Troubleshooting these sounds is daunting. Plus, new car + squeaky sounds = embarrassing. Not flattering at all lol
I know the pain, I have been going to that for the last 2 months with the Z1 Coilovers ....

Turns out it was in fact the sway bar bushings and endlinks. The Z1 adjustable endlinks joints are not booted or so they're exposed to the elements and dry out and cause creak/squeak noises. I cleaned and relubricated the bar bushings and ball joints. I will be getting different endlinks that are booted.

and then...? did that fix your noise?
It did. Once in a while when getting in or out of the car and weight shifts I still hear a click sound from the rear, but while driving it's silent.

I wonder if the clicking sound was from you floating rotors

No that's a completely different click noise which I corrected by resurfacing the mating surface between the hat and wheel hub.

Anytime you go aftermarket suspension components and arms, there is always noise. I have had enough cars to learn, I don't dick around too much with my cars anymore, because then I start to hate them.

There should be some deflection but not nearly to that level

Well, it looks like it is chewed up pretty good. Might be the source of the noise? Do you have a way to check it out, OP?

It was in fact those ball/helm joints. I lubed them up and the noise for the most part went away. They were bone dry. Cleaned them with wd40 then greased them. Once in a while I'll hear the sway bar "click" when the weight of the car shifts a little while stationary. Z1 updated these end links to have boots now (go figure). I called them out and of course they deflected. "3rd party parts make noise" yeah then why did you boot the joints? Whatever. I'm gonna get SPL end links eventually, they're booted as well.
