Nismo Sways on Restriction/Backorder

I ordered a set of Nismo Sways a couple weeks ago and they hadn't shipped yet. Called the place I got them from (parts for Nissan), and he said he just found out that they are on Restriction and this backorder from Nissan. Said there may be a quality issue with the sways.

Anyone else hear this or have more context? Trying to stay as OEM+ as possible, but also don't want to wait 6 months to get a set of sways.

I'm pretty sure these and Z1 are both made by SPL??

Should not be a welded flat piece at the end of a sway. Should be continuous piece of heat treated metal.

maybe its the NISMO end links they make then? I was at the techsport racing shop looking at the new GT4 Z racecar and it actually had Z 1 sways and endlinks on it. I told the guy working on the car I was getting the NISMO sways and he says yea those and Z1's are all SPL stuff. maybe he meant the links and I misunderstood.

I believe the Nismo sways are actually Suspension Techniques. If you study the ends of them they look identical. The Z1 piece looks way more beefy. If someone wants oem + in this department maybe look toward Eibach

absolutely wild. I think I might cancel my order and go with the Stillen Set

Yea…I remember being pissed the Nismo trim didn’t come with NISMO USA parts but now I see they made the right decision.

NISMO USA just updated the situation saying that a new order of these will be available in the fall with improvements. also commented that these bars especially the front should be used with only the OE mounts and not aftermarket endlinks
