Hey everyone. I'm Doug and I have lost count of the number of Datsun and Nissan Z cars I have had pass thru my garages. My first was a 1970 Green (acquired in 1973), color changed to yellow pearl and basically stock. It has since transformed to the G nose, LS1 and a really pearl yellow. All the rest have come to the garage, been spiffed up and most have sold after we used them a bit. Same with the 300ZX, 350Z and 370Z. We still have 3, mine and one each for the two sons, ready for the mods they want to attempt.
I'll be ordering the 400Z as soon as I am able, S option, manual, color undetermined as of now.

Hi everyone! My name is Rene and I used to own a 04 350Z back in 2004.

I miss that car so much, but the good thing about that car it was my first show car that I got to travel do movies, meet great people and celebrities.

Iā€™m very interested and excited to see what the new Z has to offer and Iā€™m glad to be apart of something new.

Hereā€™s a few photos of my old Z and my last project. You can tell from my last project Iā€™ve always been a fan of Nissan

Rene

Hey there! Looking forward to the new z and the aftermarket world it's going to open up, especially taller 240z-like tail lights and retro style aero.
I'm on NICO as SarahLovesHer300zx and insta as z32chick. I've owned (3) z32s, still have two currently. One has an engine "built" by the previous owner but its a garbage build that I've been trying get running for years. Probably going to rob the go-fast goodies off that one and send it to the junkyard. The other is my 89 JDM z32TT 2+2 and she's my pride & joy. Hoping to add the new z to my stable in the near future.

Hi. I am glad to find this forum and look forward to seeing discussions on the upcoming Z. I bought a new 1973 and owned it until someone pulled out in front of me and totaled my car. I had planned to keep my car forever. Four years ago, after a lot of looking I found a very nice ā€˜72 at a fair price and purchased it. It drives as it should, everything works, it is stock, and even smells as it should. It is great a new Z is coming and it canā€™t come too soon. I hope to have two Zā€™s in the not too distant future

I've had multiple other vehicles between the years of owning these. Been apart of My350z for quite some time as well..

Hoping this is the primary new Z forum.

Glad to be apart of this with the rest.

Hello all. I currently drive a 2016 370Z roadster, automatic. Before that it was the 2010 370Z roadster manual (which I miss a lot!) And finally a 2004 350Z Roadster auto. Most all other cars are Nissans, 2 Maximas, an Altima and Armada. lol

This time out i'm looking for a Z Nismo manual.

Hello from the San Francisco Bay Area. New to this forum and the Z platform. Extremely intrigued by everything I've read thus far and very attracted by the combo of specs and rumored pricing. Looking to potentially replace my 2017 M240i sometime next year with something fun, small, light(er), RWD, and with manual/dual clutch. 400hp and 3200lb have been the target numbers in my head.... not a lot of options out there..... 981/982 Cayman/Boxster GTS would be great but even CPOs are expensive. No Supra for me as I already have the B58 and ZF 8A in my current ride. Here to learn more.

Whatā€™s up everybody. I started off my car obsession journey with a Civic hatchback, then went through 3 different Infiniti Gā€™s (with my g37 coupe being my favorite car Iā€™ve owned). Bought an Audi RS4 after those, then made a weird transition into the Jeep world. I sold all of the Jeep stuff last year and bought a 2000 single cab 4 banger Tacoma with cash to save up for a Z33 build, but after all of the leaks, Iā€™m dead set on the new Z.

Out of all the different cars Iā€™ve owned, the Z community was by far my favorite. There will never be a comparison to Zdayz, so to say Iā€™m excited to have another excuse to go would be an understatement. From my last Zdayz (before I stuck an inflatable palm tree through the sunroof and someone lit the straw hat I was wearing on fire):

Hi All,

I bought my first Z in 2012. It was a 2004 350z enthusiast model with a 6 speed manual and I owned this car for 4 years. Then in 2019 I bought a 2014 370z with sport pack and 7at. I only owned the car for one year and when covid hit I sold the car and made a nice profit. I also still own my '12 G37xS sedan which has been a great daily.

I'm looking forward to the new Z, but I have no doubt that dealers will mark up the car once released, so I may wait a year or two and pick up a used one.

I never really considered an Infinity coupe before. I just checked them out and sure enough, way to pricey for me at 60k for a red sport. If you could get one of the regular Q60's in the low-to-mid 40's and could tune the engine up fairly easily and inexpensively to close to the RS levels, then I might have to look into it. I do love the interior, but the exterior is a little too conservative for my tastes and noticed the exterior colors are lacking in any I really like. Now if the Z is going to come with the red sport engine in a better looking, lighter car for under 50k (hopefully with little to no ADM) and they have a couple good colors I will like, then it may be worth it to wait. I'm sure there will be some aftermarket kits out there for the front bumper as that is the only area of the car I'm not sure about. But man, I'm itching for a new ride this summer as I am finally in a position to do it. I just have to put off the temptation to order a Challenger 1320 as interest rates are 0% for 72 months right now. I guess I could at least test drive a Supra to see what its like as I haven't even seen one in person yet. Plus it will be a lot closer to what a Z will be like than my current Mustang or the Challenger. I've already test driven a Scat Pack with the WB, 1320 and shaker packages to compare what I really want for a daily driver.

Howdy. I've been lurking this forum for awhile. I used to have a '78 280Z that I had to sell when my wife at the time got knocked up. While i love my son dearly, I do miss that car!

I almost pulled the trigger on a 370 a couple years back, but I'm glad I waited. I cannot wait for the new Z! Thanks to all in this forum for the news and gossip.

My wife just got the new '21 Rogue. I'm quite impressed with it as well.

I feel so guilty...my husband let go of his classic Lotus Esprit when I got pregnant...and since then itā€™s been me following the sport car dream. A civic type R, followed by my Peugeot RCZ type R ( I think the only black one in WA) ...grew up on Nissan though with my dad starting on a Datsun 120Y and Skyline ...time to head back to my roots with the new Z, canā€™t wait
