Yeah, I'm not holding my breath either. But the rendering of the new Challenger/Charger or whatever if will be called looks pretty sweet from the front at least. I heard they are going to add some kind of decent sound to it that is supposed to increase with throttle response. AWD would be good...
I kind of liked the first renderings that came out, but this latest one looks hideous if it is accurate. Now if they would have made it similar to the mach 1 they would have had something.
Body color for me. I never really got into the whole black roof or hood craze. Plus since its the only way it comes in Rosewood and that is the color I would get if I were to get one. If I'm not mistaken, I think gun metallic is the only other color that doesn't have the black roof at this point...
I agree. I would go up to maybe 48k tops for a loaded one if I really like it when I see and drive one in person. But it may be hard to convince me to trade in my 1320 as it is likely to continue to go up in value.
I originally wanted an auto since they are almost always faster anymore and I use the remote start all the time. But the more I think about it a manual does seem to fit this car better and I have a garage now. I would have to get a 2nd car for the winter if I went with the manual though unless I...
I agree. I thought it would be faster. 0-60 isn't too bad, but the quarter is pretty bad IMO. I'm guessing the advertised hp is pretty accurate compared to the underrated power of the Supra. I wonder how much better tires and a tune will wake it up?
I wonder what color interior you can get with Rosewood? The one I clicked on only offers red and black with the yellow stitching. It may depend on the trim though.
Those numbers are a little disappointing, but Hagerty's times were better (4.3 to 60 in 0-60 manual and 4.0 in the auto) are much closer to the Supra's time. I like the look of the Z better, but that straight six in the Supra...makes awesome power and torque, sounds awesome and gets good gas...
Yeah a little disappointing, but then again not really that bad. My 1320 is supposed to do 3.7, but the best I've been able to do is 4.6 on the street. I haven't tried the drag spec launch control yet though and that is with full pressure in the tires. But with the higher than expected price and...
That is true, but I'm thinking the new Z will get better mileage than my Scat Pack. I'm averaging bet. 19-20mpg right now driving it "normal" most of the time. My 16GT used to get 23-24 using regular and I'm betting the Z will get a little better than that. I've been putting mid-grade or premium...
The Challengers have the opposite issue. If you got the ruby interior, the door inserts were the same, but if you got the new tan seats (which I really wanted to get), the doors and everything else was still black. I ended up getting the 1320 in which everything was black though.
Yeah, like I said I've been stopping by now and then. I'm sure there will be aftermarket fixes for the front end and I could always at least check one out when they hit the dealerships. If there is no ridiculous markup at that time, who knows? It sucks I'll be paying on those new wheels for...
Man that Rosewood looks awesome! Just when I think I'm going to stick with the Challenger I start having doubts again and come back on here to see what's going on. I was originally going to get an Octane Red Scat Pack, but changed my mind when Sinnamon Stick came out. I always wanted a dark red...
Mostly Challengerchat and Challengerforumz since I currently have a Scat Pack, but a lot of guys on there have been aholes lately. Mustang6g is still the largest and probably the best and most of them are pretty considerate and will help you out. I'm still on the fence on to whether I'm going to...
Is that bad and what are the new Z's supposed to do? All I could muster was a 4.9 out of my stock 1320 and they are supposed to do about 3.8. I'm really disappointed, but of course I tried it on the fly with full air pressure and not the greatest conditions as the road was a little bumpy and it...
