I would imagine that might be quieter than what I have now. I think it’s a good option for someone with a non-resonated mid pipe but I have the resonators.
For anyone that is looking for there setup to have more volume but not drone. If someone is wanting a muffler delete but worried about it being too loud deleting everything.

I do appreciate it. I’m just hoping there is somebody here that has the resonated mid pipe and a muffler delete like this.

I have this exact setup. MT Z that I swapped to the AT mid-pipe and the EOS muffler delete axle back. Tone is amazing and not offensively loud. Even with aggressive driving, from outside it just sounds like a sporty car. Not obnoxious. It did introduce some mild drone between ~1,700-2,700 RPM, but I was able to almost entirely eliminate it by sound proofing the hatch area. Sounds like it should have from the factory now, IMO. I have a Manual transmission Performance Z and want more sound...too quiet. Are you saying that for a M/T Z, you can just change out the back non-muffler from a A/T Z and it will sound louder?
Is that what you did and any chance for a sound clip?
Yea it sounds better, not terribly louder in my opinion. I just completed the swap took about 40 minutes and so far I like the sound!

Hey, thanks a bunch for the info. I really don’t like the idea of introducing any drone but it’s an inexpensive and reversible mod to give a try. If I don’t like it, I’ll just swap it back.

can we get sound clips of exq red’s setup and your stock a/t? red dropped a massive muffler and added resonators which made a difference to his stock m/t.
