Not much needs to be said about Misha’s input on the Performance Z it’s just a GT car that wants to kill you.

I haven’t seen him roast a car like this in a long time… quite embarrassing for Nissan the amount of exposure this will get is crazy, how you put a garbage suspension, brakes and tyres in a 85k AUD car is beyond me.

If it wasn’t for Z Nismo I wouldn’t ever consider a Z, that’s my personal opinion not a piss take on anyone, how embarrassing is it to have no brakes midway through the Nurburgring and see a driver with that much Nurburgring experience go 40km/h slower because he doesn’t trust the car at all..!?

Exactly, and with his tons of experiences on this long 'Ring track, really taxed the Z and right away tires and brakes were really disappointing as we all know, those terrible S007s and lack of brake cooling plus pads/fluids. It's totally expected, and sad like he said. I'd like to see him push a mildly upgraded Z, even a Nismo, for feedbacks.

Absolutely agree mate it didn’t need to be this way by Nissan, the Performance Z’s bar should’ve been set much higher and the Z Nismo should be at least 0.200 faster than a GR Supra not just trailing it.

Meh.

Nissan is in the profit business, and they are succeeding. I'm sure their board room is terrified of the .00000002% of consumers that will not buy the car because they cannot drive it on a track like a pro without upgrading the brakes.

But I know with just a FEW critical upgrades - brakes, sways, springs/coilovers AND proper alignment - the RZ34 will wake up! It is what it is to begin with, poorly spec'ed as factory delivered. Should at least put some of the Nismo bits on it, will be night and day difference. And the power is more than enough for most, plus Nissan 'bones' and heritage are excellent.

Yep exactly. They want Porsche performance paying Nissan money!

Since I won't be running my Z at Nürburgring, or anything close, in this lifetime, being a "comfy good looking cruiser" is fine by me. In fact, it's exactly want I want.
My thoughts exactly. I bought the Z to be a fun car on the weekends and comfortable enough to thrive during the rough Chicago area commutes. Im no track-day-hero and just want to enjoy a car at spirited speeds.

With that being said - it was entertaining to watch Misha battling with the Z. This also highlights a lot of key points to improve for Nissan Corporate, but also us enthusiasts who may want more performance driving out of this platform.
