First mod was michelin ps4 tires. Then anti-sway bars .I ordered my tires before I signed the car sales documents! I knew this was a cheap price gt sports auto with needed aftermarket upgrades. Its an attainable 400HP at motor 2 seater GT. A great deal. With that comes the realization if you want a track car you have to make the after market upgrades we all are doing/did. I purchased a Sport model. Addressed a lengthy sheet of Upgrades for ECU ecutek tune 133 HP power bump suspension/grip(tire&wheels) power mods FBO , aero, flex fuel system upgrades, clutch etc over a year and half . Nissan should be given praise for committing to the legacy of Z and making this low customer sale volume auto in this present day of economic conditions. You want a capable track car build one. Base performance and sport are good fun comfy sport cars for folks who dont need a track car who can afford to love. No other auto maker makes a sub 2 seater GT at least 400HP @ motor . Kudos to Nissan. We love our Z. Im sure for those of us who made track mods to our Z would love to get Misha's assessment after driving one track spec'd. And i love Misha but yea. Will address breaks. Gonna get capable quality BBKs

I will take your word on that. In my opinion if how a stock Z handles the Ring is a top criteria maybe you should get one of those other cars that handles it better.
Not my criteria, but it does show how cars do compare .

I am a LONGTERM Z fan, but when i test drove the STD "Z" it was a huge disappointment.... basically, a big heavy, wallowing affair! and the "400HP" certainly didn't feel like "400hp" .
Nissan market it as a high performance "Sports Car" ...IMO , it is not.
I then drove the NISMO Z ... this was so so much better, this was more the "Sports Car" i was expecting.
The NISMO version is worth every penny extra over the STD Z !!

I do not doubt your Z with your "modifications" .... i am just referring to a bog stock "STD" Z.

My "Old" Z32 with it "modifications" ( 500+ whp) was Sooooo much better than the bog stock STD Z i drove !
I drove it to the dealership, so it was out of the "old" into the "new" ...then back into the "old"

I have watched Mischa's channel for years now. Most folk take their track spec'd modded fbo and then some to him to drive. I wish he got a tracked out modded Z for this click bait. The Dealer guy who brought the Z to Misha did say its not spec'd for the track and just a comfy GT car

Absolutely. (y)

One thing of interest though... If you were to be bothered and watch the Vid i posted earlier of the Stock Z32 he drove , you will see that it is faster at every point than the current STD Z Misha drove .... quite embarrassing considering the 35+ year age of the Z32 !!

Ok! Awesome! Back on Misha... we gotta get him one of our cars. He actually said it. Does anyone have a 'fixed' Z for him to drive. Haha. Hey let's donate $$$ for one of us to ship our Z to Germany for him to drive.

Not defending Nissan for some of its choices but part of the reason for this must be the added weight from all the safety features that are required for modern vehicles. Crash the new Z and you’ll probably still walk away from the wreck. Crash the old z32 and who knows 🤷🏻

Misha was critical of the tires and breaking out of factory. Understandable. He praised the motor. VR30DDTT is a monster. Proving with Q50 redsport! 850HP stock internals. But yea. The Z out of factory is not Track ready auto.

I was disappointed to see this, but I do not disagree with anything he said.
I find the the Z ass puckering on anything other than a freeway over 100kmh (60mph).
I can only imagine the size of the stones on that guy. To be pushing 200kmh on a less than dry track.

However I'd guess 90% of the cars he drives are either high level track focused cars or have upgrades of some kind making them far more track focussed than they are stock.

Would love to see him have another go in another Z with some good tyres, pads and a set of coil-overs. Maybe even an auto?

No excuses, but everyone always forgets this is/was not THE TOP OF LINE sports car model made by Nissan.

It is embarrassing as a RZ34 owner to see the criticism but this is to motivate ! Criticism is good! Shoot we all criticized the tires from day 1 and the whirl ass drift flowing tail. Hahahaha. We addressed these needed mods. I hate to see this stock Z given to him to drive. It makes me angry. Like sending a whimpy nerd to fight Prime Tyson. I am now thinking I should take my Z over to him. Im on it!....to be continued... 🫡
