First Autocross in the Z NISMO! Just finished my break in miles and an oil change at 1100 miles. Coming from 2023 Z performance the NISMO takes out so much of the body roll and the brakes are noticeably improved. You can. Also feel the NISMO exclusive Traction Mode working to keep you online but never felt intrusive. The personality of the NISMO feels different like it's a bit of a handful on purpose. You can easily power slide it and keep control as it's not twitchy at all.

Some say, the G-Force meter can reveal one's true identity.

Any Diff temp/fluid issues?
Any insight into your hot times vs. cooldown times?
I was going to ask the same. I know Z1 sells a diff cooler, but I fear my NISMO track exhaust would be in the way unfortunately. Also, did you happen to experience any of that fuel starving issue many reviews spoke about?

I got the Z1 drop ins and I think I’ll leave it at that. I’m torn if I should go exhaust or no, which is why I was hoping you were going to do the Nismo exhaust lol
My NISMO track exhaust is getting installed on Friday, and I'll be getting some sound/video over the weekend and posting it up, just fyi.

Diff fluid doesn't heat up at all on autoX. I think it was only 97 degrees

I thought about the fuel starvation so before my runs I made sure I had well over half a tank

For Autocross it's a non issue as you spend more time idling in line for your run than you do in course. Ambient temp was 46 degrees and oil temp was 218 diff didn't even get 100

Will report back when I do VIR in the spring/summer

Sold the NISMO cover and got my oem cover back on and added a second pressured nismo cap to the heat exchanger reservoir

I was fixing a rattle in the dash and discovered where the "afterburner" sound from the downshifts in Sport+ mode come from

I think this was noted in another thread. If you unplug that is ASC disabled, or does it come through the other speakers as well?

Is the rattle gone? What was it?

I feel like it uses the subwoofer too. I assume the non NISMO has this speaker also? I never looked under the dash of my performance. The nismo just has a specific sound when you downshift .

Rattle was around the traction control area but sticking a piece of foam between the side of the dash and the door put enough pressure on that area to stop it

It's in my '23 but I have to say, I'm not sure I'm flexible enough anymore to unplug it.

It also seems like others in the forum have mentioned needing to disable ASC when adding an aftermarket subwoofer, so you're probably right.

2nd Autocross in the NISMO.

Still learning the car but was really impressed today with the precise steering. There were a few instances I entered a turn too hot and was expecting some understeer but the NISMO exclusive traction mode applies light braking to the outside wheels and prevented it. Tires felt great however I will say today I had to baby short shift into 2nd right at the start as waiting to 5-6k rpm would really upset the rear right when I was entering the first gate. At the very end of the course I felt like it needed to be in 3rd as I could feel the power cut just a bit more than my last event when that wasnt an issue at all. I wonder how leaving it in auto would do but I just fear it will shift to 3rd like mid course and ruin my run so chose just to run manual. Here is my best run of the day. Hopefully will have some on course shots to post this week.
