Agreed, a car when it holds so much sentimental value; especially to the point that no monetary means can confine it- to me- I can suck it up and settle the loss, or keep it. Either or, the Nismo and now that it comes manual; really taught me how fun a modern yet old chassis can feel; it feels old school but holds a charm like no other. Nismo is a Nismo after all.Yeah, iām stuck too on whether or not to trade my auto in for the manual. Iāve put a little over 10k miles on my auto and the memories created with it and improvements in my driving over the course of the year make it hard for me to just give it up (the auto trans is also no slouch). i love how the car feels now with higher mileage, just feels right for me. Might pickup a nismo manual by itself or buy it used at some point
I switched from a MT Performance to the NISMO. My advice is; which I will do as well, wait until it shows up and gets test driven. I cannot imagine how a MT Nismo will compare to the AT. Take this from a staunch MT enthusiast.Yeah, iām stuck too on whether or not to trade my auto in for the manual. I am sure you probably already mostly agree with what I am about to say, but I still think it is worth saying, and it is why I hope they make manuals forever.I switched from a MT Performance to the NISMO. ). For someone like me, this dance is the main attraction. The manual shifter, clutch, and all the techniques surrounding them have a culture/history/lore that is tied into the development of driving, and not having it there is like watching your favorite movie with the sound off, or in black and white.
MT = Lights dim. Partner close. Dancing the Tango.ā¦the engagement from also being responsible for gear selection and the clutch (especially on track) makes it more like a danceā¦
Could not agree More with you... manuals forever...... and it is why I hope they make manuals forever.
