I have had these a couple months now and am very happy with them and no bent brackets here.
Also have had mine on for some time and no issues so far. The stickers are peeling back a bit, but merely cosmetics at this point.

Are there any other options?
Unsure…I had the Z1 hood struts for my 2016 Nismo but not showing anything for the RZ34 on their site just for the 350/370 sadly.

Surprised Z1 does not have anything.
For some reason Z1 seems to love designing products that are 80-90% done. I can't for the life of me understand why they don't just design a true bolt on solution. A few of their bigger products that I can think of both require some fabrication that could be offset by a better designed product.

I wanted to share an important updated on my experience with KANJO hood dampers. I first want to say that I love this product and highly recommend them. I like many of you noticed the bent mounting brackets when initially received. I reached out and made contact with Peter who went out of his way to tell me a modification to design was in works and would keep me informed when available. He did and with no prodding one day I received the updated brackets. They are perfect and I have attached pictures of the new brackets installed. Bottom Line: This is the kind of vender you want to deal with, and I love the dampeners before, but even more with new modified brackets installed. This is my kind of vender and if you hate the prop rod like I do highly recommend this product but especially this vender.

This is great news. Peter really is super down to earth. I didn’t realize the new design was ready. I just reached out to see if I can get a set as well. I believe there was supposed to be some sort of announcement on Instagram too.

Yep same story here he contacted me saying new brackets were ready and mailed them out! Outstanding customer service at least in my case and I would highly recommend them again.

Did you already get yours? If not, can you take a side by side pic of the old and new? I’m curious what they changed.

Already got and installed them, but here are pictures of the updated brackets installed and the older ones. It looks like the updated are no doubt a little bigger and maybe a smidge thicker using the eyeball test. I guess if you really want to know what changes were made you can reach out to them for the most accurate information. I can say so far the new brackets are working as designed with no signs of bending.

I'll be contacting them Monday about getting an updated design set because my drivers side has started to bend. Passenger side is still straight.

Thanks for the updates!

New design has that extra bar on the bracket where the shock mounts to the pivot pin. Most likely for lateral support under tension. Old one in the pic didnt have that cross section. Thicker is always better for brackets that see's a lot of high stress

Good to hear this company listens and make changes as needed ???

I just ordered mine a few days ago. I imagine they will include the redesign?

Edit: NVM, customer service got back to me and told me mine would have new brackets.

Did you need to jack your car up or remove tire to install the hood dampers in order to reach underneath the car?
