Just found a Passion Red Z at a dealer in Fairfield CT. In my searching all over the US for a Blue Performance Z (with the nissausa.com build and price function) this is the only red one I've seen. The Passion Red seems to be very scarce. Passion Red, Manual, Graphite (Black) interior. Hope this helps.

This car seemed to vanish between 4/12 and 4/14.

I was a nice day here in Houston today, so I took my 240 out and stopped by my nearby Nissan dealer. I visited with the inventory manager and was told that Z production has been cut by 75% Any truth to this that anyone knows? He really could not help much and basically shrugged his shoulders saying he just did not have any Z information. They have received 2 of the new Z''s since the car came out. The dealer had a few Ariya's and I was able to take a good look at one. Nice car. They are marking up the Arya's $4K.

I ordered OEM Nissan parts for my Titan....valve covers, and every dealership I contacted said Nissan is having difficulty making parts and these parts, along with others, are on a nationwide backorder with no ETA!

So, now I'm on a "wait-list" for freaking valve covers!

Would it surprise anyone, if Nissan declares bankruptcy tomorrow?

With cars, I've always had the philosophy that I don't want a "rare" car because it would be hard to find parts for it. I want something kinda fun and cool, but mass produced so there's a good support network.

I thought the Z would fall into this category, but maybe not.

I wonder if Nissan is rethinking this whole rollout of the Z. Is it profitable, does it come inline with future directive? We're almost midyear 2023 and not seeing much production. Is Nissan looking out for an alternative energy sports car? Making more sense as months pass. Other brands are tooling concepts and probably coming out soon , e.g. Miata, MR2, etc, before Nissan.

Probably a good thing to own one now, could be a rare commodity, hmm.

The VK56 valve covers are used on Titan, Armada, QX and the vans. It's a common part, so it's quite disappointing that such a common item could become hard to get. Like the VQ37, the tube gaskets are molded in to the cover, so the entire cover is replaced.

Imagine 15 years from now, you have a Z, one of only 5,310 made over 3 years (before being officially discontinued) and you need basic service parts for it.
You'll be cross-referencing 370Z and Infiniti stuff trying to keep the Z running....but Z specific parts will be very difficult to come by..... who's gonna tool up for such a small pool of vehicles?

Don't worry, there's plenty of 370Z parts out there...?

I was lucky to get my Z Performance modal, manual. I have been looking out of curiosity for others Z’s for sale. It’s like a desert out there. Crazy

I'm on vacation for the next few weeks, but I'll update again when I get back, assuming this is useful to anyone. Is it?

The spreadsheet has all the serial numbers I've found, but I'm only searching in the US. I spent a bit of time trying to figure out how to search CA and AU without much luck.
